It was known throughout Neverland that the lagoon was a dangerous place to be. It was rumored that even the best swimmers had drowned in it. This is the same lagoon that Wendy disappeared into the previous night. Why she went out there is still unknown.

What could be causing the drownings? A shark? A sea monster? A giant squid? As it turned out, there were mermaids in this water. It got quite lonely out on the water at night. To pass the time, the mermaids took pleasure in drowning the unsuspecting. One mermaid in particular, @Animal Midwife, really enjoyed talking. During the day, she had gossiped to a friend that she was responsible for Wendy's death. She was proud of it too. She couldn't understand why so many were angry about it. "But... I'm trying to kill pirates.", she reassured the masses at the shore.

Mermaids are swift. Midwife was no exception. She dodged many bullets, nets, and harpoons. However, the hunting party grew so large that she couldn't evade them forever. The mob injured Midwife. It's unclear if she will make it.

Ain't nobody done died yet.

Its night 6. 14 players left.

I would rather eat my eyeballs with a spoon than stay on this computer another 5 minutes. My spreadsheet freaks it the hell out, and conversations are sooooo slooooow to open or be edited. So I don't have all night actions responded to yet - I'm sorry, and I'm working on it.



Last night was sort of hilarious for us narrator people. First, we take a stroll into the den of the Affiliated Pirates. They were flying pretty high last night - their newest member, @heyyimhayley, had been a real asset from the moment she was added to their thread. You see, Hayley was Tinker Bell, a tiny fairy who can feel only one emotion at a time. On nights when she felt happy Tink could boost another player's actions, and when she was feeling angry she could attempt to kill. No matter what her emotion was any given night, Tink was a valuable player to have around.

Last night Tink learned her mood and plotted what way she could best help her wolfy friends. But while she plotted, someone else was plotting, as well.

Enter @1doggeek to stage left. 1dogg was Cecco, an Unaffiliated Pirate who could kill one player every three nights until found by his faction. Last night was the night. His second kill. After this, he would be 2/3 of the way to his win condition, and he was feeling pretty good. He sat under a tree, cleaning dirt out from under his nails with his long, curved knife. Hayley seemed like as good a choice as any, he thought. She was small and fast - she'd be a challenging target, but that would only make her death all the more satisfying.

Dead is Hayley, Tinker Bell, a Solo Role who was converted to Affiliated Pirate.

The Affiliated Pirates were across Neverland, plotting their own kill. They found the biggest rock in Neverland and carefully moved it into place. Who would be their target? Well, 1dogg, of course! (1dogg, who was, at this very minute, killing their ally Tink. No one could have realized how poetic this kill would be.)

When 1d0gg was finished with Tink, she left the wolves' den with a spring in her step. Two down, one to go! She was so preoccupied with her thoughts that she never saw the Affiliated Pirate who was waiting for her.

And so Cecco the Unaffiiated Pirate found himself tied to the largest boulder in Neverland, rolled off a cliff, and - well, his juices splattered across the beach, but he wasn't aware of that last bit.

Dead is Cecco, Unaffiliated Pirate.

It is now Day 7. There are 12 players left.

When did I say I could recruit pirates? I can guess who other unaffiliateds are so I can talk to them, but the unaffiliated and affiliated pirates are two different groups.
 
Are we assuming our murderous mermaid is going to die on her own?

Also I'm traveling back to Minnesota today so may not be able to check in much.

Some things we need to consider today. 1st - I did not kill kaydubs, AM did. If kaydubs had lived, she would have been able to confirm my ability. I've outed everything about myself and the write up seems to state that unaffiliated and affiliated pirates are two different groups. I can confirm this to be true also.

MJ gave us a hint where to find a wolf yesterday, and I believe he's saying someone in hollow trees is a wolf, so we should definitely look there.

Most interesting though is that I have it on good authority that trilt is Bill Jukes - an affiliated pirate and WOLF.

Yes, I am Bill Jukes, which is why I've not been champing at the bit to jump on bandwagons on the basis of people being pirates, and why I was one of the only people who gave you any benefit of the doubt. Appreciate that being repaid with a false accusation. I am not a wolf, and a couple people can verify my tattooing ability.

Seriously? There's testing info, and then there's taking the word of someone who has been borderline sketchy for days, has an ability claim that is weird as crap, and admits to inheriting an ability - how much more "affiliated" do you get than that?

While I didn't parade what or whom I was on the thread, I also wasn't exactly subtle with my ability. If you couldn't guess it was me who gave you a noob tattoo and knew when your match was, Rojo, I'm genuinely disappointed in you.

Also love that I can't even freaking vote today. BS.

This is the same old lame, communication empty day cycle that has led to us getting to half our numbers while not snagging a single damn wolf via lynch. The random accusations have really been solid this game, yeah.

Listen, if she wanted to kill someone to prolong her life, she could have picked a more valuable target. But since your role has no major benefit, I'll lynch you and she will die tomorrow if you aren't a wolf

Yeah, except it does have value. I kind of assumed that you were told that while you got your tattoo you told me who you interacted with that night - apparently not. I'm an every other night tracker. That's why I abruptly switched from Jilary to AM yesterday with a kind of crappy reason - I got my late results that told me AM interacted with kaydubs, so knew she was our killer. I know who you messed with the night I tattooed you, and the passive ability of the person I did the first night.
 
A little over 4 hours left. If everyone checks in before that, I'm okay with closing early.
