How many hours of Physician Shadowing(or do u scribe or have a job that exposes u to working w/a dr), Clinical/non clinical volunteering did you guys have??? And also what are your stats(MCAT, SGPA,CGPA), URM/ORM, Texas Resident or OOS?

Shadow a PCP for at least 40 hrs total. Clinical jobs are helpful to accrue hours (+ you get paid, and you typically do more than restock shelves in a hospital). Look at msar for averages but probably aim for 3.85+ and 513+.

TX schools accept ~90% in state residents and it goes without saying that URM status helps. Best of luck
