How long does it take for your DAT to verify? I took it last friday and entered my dentpin and unofficial scores then.

If you close the tab and reload it, it should work. That works for me anywayHas anyone else been having issues logging into their account? it keeps telling me my user or password is incorrect but its definitely not
Okay thanks, I'll try that if it happens again! If you close the tab and reload it, it should work. That works for me anyway
My assumption would be that the credit number is usually a give away. 3+1 for lab separate or 4 with lab included.A lot of my pre req classes incorporate lab into the class, so the lab is not listed separately as a class, I was just wondering how dental schools can tell? How would they know if the class had lab if it wasn't listed separately?
Do we have to resend all of our transcripts?
All the ones from last cycle are showing arrived under the check status tab.
I only need to update one of my five transcripts.
I have this same question, as Loma Linda requires a clergy/spiritual leader letter. I am fortunate that my physics professor was my bishop for a time, but having him focus on the spiritual aspect of my life may not be super helpful in basically every other school. Should I just advise him to not worry about brevity and to include academic and spiritual?
You can select up to six to highlight. The AADSAS gives the schools a page, sort of like an abstract to a paper, that tells them about you. Those 6 experiences and 4 achievements get put on that page. Are you only allowed to post up to 6 things under experiences? It doesn't explicitly say, it just says you can mark up to 6 as your most important. However, I keep trying to post a seventh and I'll hit save and continue but nothing happens...
I have 20+ experiences. You can only "highlight" 6 of them. These will be portrayed as the most important experiences to the dental schools. Shadowing is volunteer since it doesn't really fall into any of the others. For experiences, when included shadowing, I need to mark "the type of recognition". it is either compensated, received academic credit, or volunteer. However shadowing a dentist is none of those things. But I have to mark once, so what do I select?
Also, we could only list 6 experiences. How am I supposed to include all my volunteer hours? Let's say I have two different volunteer hours (for different organizations), 50 each, for a total of 100 hours. How do I include both of them if I could only list 6 things? That's because I have other things, like research, work, shadowing, clubs, etc.

No clue tbh but worked for me, with each course only 3 cr.A lot of my pre req classes incorporate lab into the class, so the lab is not listed separately as a class, I was just wondering how dental schools can tell? How would they know if the class had lab if it wasn't listed separately?
20 different research, volunteers, dental, academic enrichment employment and extra curriculars year. I think you do 10 of each. You have 20 different experiences you did in college?

10 each is probably excessive. 20ish amounts to about 3-4 for each section. I feel like what I included provides the right amount of detail for my application.I think there comes a time where listing that much becomes counterproductive.

If you have more, then I must have read incorrectly. I think that is from previous application cycles.Uh oh, only 10 of each? Where did you read that? I have over that amount in the Experiences section and it's been allowed to post. Didn't receive any cautionary warnings from the application site saying I couldn't.
Right now you can start filling out the entire application. Transcripts are probably important as they can take a couple weeks to arrive and get processed. The other thing that I would recommend is getting you recommendors added so that when they are finished they can add the letter to your application. As long as you as submitting before the end of July it is still considered early.First Q: I am planning to submit my app late June/early July. Are there any steps I should be taking right now because they take a certain amount of time to complete (ex. delivering transcripts).
Second Q: My quarter ends mid June, but I'd like to include my final Spring quarter grades as I predict this will boost my GPA. As such, that means I'd be sending in my transcript end of June. Is this a good move?
From the AADSAS Instructions page:Should the title of shadowing experiences just be "shadower"? I'm not really sure what to put here. And what should the description of these be? Just what we observed, and how they taught us? Also, how should we note their specialty? Just in their own "title"?
They won't because you have not given them authorization to contact them. It will send up a huge red flag to schools though that you said no. It leaves the door open for them just make an assumption as to why.Under the experiences section, for one of my experiences, I did not give authorization to contact them. I did this because the girl in charge has ruined a lot of my relationships with others. I know that if she is contacted then she will take advantage of that again. Do any of you know whether schools still call even if you say no?

Thanks!Mine were marked as "completed" very shortly after my evaluators uploaded them.
I’m not sure how much this answer will help but when I sent in my transcripts it took them like 2 whole days longer than my TMDSAS app to update that they received it. I would just maybe give it a day or two and see before contacting AADSASDoes anyone know if it takes time for a letter to be listed as complete. One of my writers told me they submitted yesterday and it still shows as accepted. I wasn't sure if it takes time to process or if my writer just missed a step. THANKS!!!
I feel as if I should just remove that activity. I know that she will try to use it against me. All this may seem bizarre, but she's ruined a lot of stuff in my life.Just put yes, let's be real, they will not contact them either way.

Thank you!!I mean if it is an unimportant activity that you didn't do a lot of hours then, then sure, you could take it out if you want.
Thank you!!
I'm still going to think about it, because UB told me that they don't always call the contact number, they often call the organization. ThanksLol, it is up to you. I am applying this cycle. Don't take what I say with any authority. I could be just as wrong.
The AADSAS calculates the grades after the transcripts are verified because some schools use a +/- system and others use a straight grade letter system. The AADSAS calculates based on what each individual school uses. How does the "qualified points" thing work? I thought that an A would be the same, no matter if it's an A- or A+ because the transcript would only show letter grades.
I put mine stuff under achievements because I have read on other threads that those types of things are not considered licenses. I did include that in a list of questions to the AADSAS yesterday. I will post what they tell me when I hear back from them.I know this was answered before, but where do I put my CPR certificate at again? Under the achievements section or licenses?
The general consensus here is that you only include what they ask for. If they ask for 2 semester courses then that is what you will select. You could always double check with the schools though if you want confirmation.Under the program materials, when selecting pre-req classes should you include all other elective courses if they fall under a schools requirement. For example, I took a third semester of organic for my major, should I select this class along with the first two semesters? or should you just select those main classes that directly fall under the requirement?

I called ADEA AADSAS yesterday about the same issue. They told me that “accepted” means that the evaluator has answered the questions and uploaded the letter but he/she hasn’t click on submit. It’s still in preview.Does anyone know if it takes time for a letter to be listed as complete. One of my writers told me they submitted yesterday and it still shows as accepted. You need to contact the evaluator and ask him/her to submit it
I emailed the AADSAS yesterday and asked. I will post once I hear back from them. Hopefully yet today. For now though I put mine in achievements.Does anyone know which section we have to put our certification on?
I asked them yesterday after I asked about my problem on evaluation. The guy didn’t know the exact answer. He said that it’s better to contact the schools that I am interested in and ask them directly.I emailed the AADSAS yesterday and asked. I will post once I hear back from them. Hopefully yet today. Hi sorry I'm familiar with TMDSAS but not AADSAS. So I have a few questions.
1)From what I can tell, the application submission opens on June 5th. Is this correct?
2) Are we supposed to wait until that date to send transcripts or will they accept the ones received before then?
3) I read somewhere that submitting before mid-July is still considered "early." Would this mean hitting the submit button or submitted and processed/transmitted to the schools by mid-July?
Thanks!
