Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Sorry oxeye 🙁

I had a doctor's appointment today with potentially bad news - I'm pre-diabetic. Blood work will be back on Monday or Tuesday to let me know if I'm full-blown type 2.

All this from weight gain in the last 2.5 years since I met Joe.

Meg, I'm nearly at a loss of words as to what to say. I sincerely hope the results come in and that you do not have type 2. I will hope for the best.

Yeah, me too. I'm glad I went to the doctor when I did. Plus, he's a really great doctor and he specialized in diabetes and metabolic issues as an FP. Time will tell. In the meantime, I'm off to buy the cross-trainer I had my eye on earlier so I can work out extra at home.

I'm not sure, but Final Fantasy XI goes up to level 75 if I remember correctly. 😛

Very similar games by the sounds of it.

Actually, yeah, I was having symptoms. My fasting blood sugar (taken at home) was 124, I urinate frequently (even at night), I am always hungry, and am always feeling exhausted. Plus, I'm about 65 pounds over my "ideal" weight, but about 50 pounds over what I want to weigh to be considered thin.

And, this weight gain has been happening since I met Joe, but most of it since after the wedding, which is a lot in a short amount of time.

My dad was diagnosed as type II about 5 years ago, and I resemble his family as far as body composition and health. His mom (grandma) also has type II, although she's always been thin, but addicted to sugar. Needless to say, I have a definite family history that also puts me at risk.

All of these factors, plus the fact that I'm turning 30 next month, made me decide to really do something before it got WAY out of control. The doctor was very happy that I was motivated enough to come in on my own (as opposed to a family member bringing up concerns).

I want to be *hottttttttttttttttt* in my 30's, and this is the best gift I can give myself (besides a 1.5 hour Swedish massage!).

So that's my short (long) story!

even with using pbot, the best rune i got was a vex. i got that vex during regular gameplay too, without any hax. those darn runes are impossible to find.
