So much to do in so little time. Why am I such a procrastinator 😵
Oops wrong threadI love the doctor I work with🥰. He fired a client today on name behalf after the client was extremely rude and swore at me on the phone. We have had issues multiple times with this client in the past and I’m glad we are done dealing with him.
Oh boy I would rage quit so hardLately I've been playing a video game that requires a consistent high-speed internet connection, which I have. (Side note, you can play offline, but it doesn't count any of your progress or achievements.) It also has a frustratingly long start up sequence (I timed it, almost 2 minutes). I've been dealing with a technical bug literally since I bought the game where it irreparably disconnects from the server after 1 hour. It doesn't matter if I've been actually playing that whole hour or just sitting on the menu screen. The only way to fix it is to restart the game.
Now, I've finished the main story. I'm going back and doing a bunch of bonus missions, during which you can't save. I got 95% of the way through one bonus mission that I've been working on for a couple days and I reached my 1 hour limit. Ooooohhhh man I'm peeved.
So here I go again, repeating the same mission again, even though I've literally done the first half of it so many times I could do it blindfolded.
Game is Hitman 3 and I'm playing on Nintendo Switch, if anyone's wondering.
Woo! Update guy is here and had to fiddle with a couple things, but should be good.stupid boiler isn't working. Woke up this morning and was thinking why is it so damn cold in here? Then no hot water for shower. Oh yes. Went down to the basement and there was the red light of FU.
Luckily, I was able to do half day today to get shiz done. Guy should be here in a bit to fix.
Protect Lawpy foreverUpdate: currently i dont have fever or chills but my arm hurts so bad and i'm completely drained and exhausted all day. I barely slept last night because i keep waking up to frozen legs. Heart rate was > 130 bpm for several hours and still high but i think its normal fever response. Will sleep way early today and hopefully will recover tomorrow

My first dose hurt more than I expected the day after my first shot. I had a similar experience after my first shot. Arm very sore, really tired throughout the week. Did you sign up for the CDC post-vaccine daily symptom tracker? I think they're trying to collate more data about vaccine side effects but it's been interesting to fill outMy first dose hurt more than I expected the day after my first shot. I can’t say I felt immediate fatigue, but it’s been about a week for me and my energy levels have been low. Whether that’s the stress of finals, the stress of my immune system responding, or both (which is what I probably is) is a mystery.

Yep!Did you just get your 2nd dose?
Yeah they’re def trying to collect more data. Made my friend who had a reeeeeal bad reaction to her Pfizer dose 2 sign up that day so they could collect her side effect dataI had a similar experience after my first shot. Darn, I was told Pfizer had relatively milder side effects! Most of my co-works got Moderna and almost all of them felt terrible after the second shot! Fever, chills, fatigue, myalgia for up to 36h. We're exchanging shifts so that everyone can rest for a day or two after the second shot.Yeah they’re def trying to collect more data. My mother works for the school system and has been helping administer and thinks people in general have less reactions to the Pfizer one, too.Darn, I was told Pfizer had relatively milder side effects! She apparently has a reaction to most vaccines 😅Darn, I was told Pfizer had relatively milder side effects! Most of my co-works got Moderna and almost all of them felt terrible after the second shot! side track: which primary care hospital in Chicago are you doing externship in?She apparently has a reaction to most vaccines 😅
I had moderna (both doses) and first one had just some mild arm soreness and second had that plus some mild nausea the next morning that was fixed with a dose of zofran
Another friend had Pfizer and she had some side effects but not as severe as friend 1 but more than anyone here that I’ve heard of with the moderna
woooo, not a good idea😱Any chance you can switch your shift with someone? And let's hope Pfizer does better! My mother works for the school system and has been helping administer and thinks people in general have less reactions to the Pfizer one, too.
(I say hopefully, having my second dose scheduled the morning of a twelve hour ER shift...)

Is V-safe working for you guys? I worked some of the early vaccine clinics in late December and we couldn't get it to work. We had posters with QR codes on them to download the app, but it would actually just take you to a CDC page describing the app and saying to contact your vaccine provider to download.Yes, I have! V-safe
We also had this issue with some of those who were early (December, early January) in getting the vaccine. We just wound up asking them to navigate vsafe.cdc.gov directly in their browser instead in order to sign up. I think that issue is fixed now, as no one else has brought it up to us lately. Is V-safe working for you guys? (Now granted, I was one of the lucky few who had no side effects other than a sore arm.)

People are getting both hereWhichever vaccine we're using here is causing the vast majority of 4th years to be sent home, if they come in at all. One of my besties was down right delusional. But I've only heard of 2 people in the class as having no vaccine reaction to the 2nd vaccine.
It worked okay for me, but I just used the code on the vaccine paperwork they gave me. I did get confused the other day because I didn't realize that after the first dose they only check in every day for seven days, then once weekly after that until you get your second dose. But otherwise no problems on my end, and it's been very consistent about when it texts me to fill it outIs V-safe working for you guys? @Lawpy How are you feeling today? I hope you're doing better![]()

Ughhh I get my 2nd dose in 10 days not looking forward to thatI got the moderna vaccine and after the first dose I had a sore arm for a few days. After the second I spiked a high fever (~102) for four days. Not fun. I had body aches, chills, lethargy, and my entire are swelled so much I was honestly concerned. I was basically incapacitated. I would absolutely do it again and am extremely grateful to get the vaccine, but dear god please don't make me get it yearly.

I had some miiiiild nausea with my 2nd moderna and I could’ve just dealt with it but I definitely took zofran specifically so I could eat pancakes for breakfastI got the Pfizer... 1st dose sore arm for 48 hours. Second dose sore arm for maybe around a week, but definite chills, general malaise and just meh feeling. I never got a fever but felt internally freezing and my temp actually was low... 96.2. That lasted around 36ish hours then I was fine. It wasn't horrid, not comfortable but not awful, I never lost my appetite we'll just put it that way. If I don't eat, something be bad. 😂
Update: 2 days since my 1st Pfizer vaccine, didn't hurt as much as a tetanus vaccine, mild soreness, that's it. Hopefully my lack of side effects isn't due to the stress of finals week weakening my immune system giving me a poor response...*fingers crossed*
AMC provided Pfizer or Moderna to us - so you got what you got. Mine was Moderna.
1st dose: mild soreness in arm for about 6 hours. That's all.
2nd dose: mild soreness in arm for 24 hours, mild headache for 24 hours, moderate myalgia for 48 hours, moderate fatigue for 48 hours. Felt very cold for 48 hours (but never had a fever, did not feel ill, had no chills, no nausea, just felt unusually cold). Fully recovered after 48 hours. Completed VAERS online.
I used to take my pets there and lived like two blocks away. Great clinic and vets 🙂It’s the one that’s owned by UIUC up in the medical district
