WEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Story goes that I graduated last year therefore I couldn't work at clinic as a student. It made me really sad that I'd have to leave but they wanted me to stay so found a solution as extra help, which is once I fulfill 900 hours, id be done. Well, my 900 hours term is ending in march so no time left and it made me grumpy thinking of leaving the clinic since I love working there! Found out that my contract as extra help was never processed and I was working as a student this whole time! They still haven't gotten to processing the contract yet but eventually will be, so I am actually staying at my job until I get into school! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEE BOIIIIII!

ummmmm odd...

now leather..... yum....

but still a bit odd....

not sure I would wear it as a perfume

I think leather would be great as a room diffuser 😀. And while I love the smell of fresh hay, I can't say I want it concentrated in a bottle. 😛

Auburn interview went well, I think...you know how the second guessing always comes afterwards. It was very fast. I got to speak some French and they told me to say hello to one of my eLOR writers on the way out. Good, right?

Was accepted to AQUAVET on Sunday!!! SO EXCITED :biglove:

Congratulations! I can't wait until I can finally apply for that. Are you interested in fish or mammal aquatic medicine?

Congrats! I have no idea what that is but it sounds awesome so I'm looking it up ASAP. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Yeah, I could see straw/hay as more of a room spray than perfume. But I wouldn't mind wearing it as perfume at work(out in the barn).

There actually are perfumes/colognes that smell like leather. 😍

Yeah mine was 10 minutes tops. It actually kind of annoyed me that I spent so much money traveling, on lodging, and transportation for a 10 minute interaction.

Guess what?! So I was all just chillin in my flat about to walk to the store for some port as I ran out.... and I receive this call from a blocked number - I figure what the hell I'll pick it up. Well lo and behold, it is the garda (police) station a few towns over and the officer says so it appears we may have had your purse turned in which you reported taken - does it look like this.... ummm yes. So I hopped my arse into a cab and hauled it over there. I didn't want to get my hopes up in case it had been completely wiped clean. But once I got there, he brought it out, and I searched the entire thing - everything was there - all of my IDs - except for the cash (which in the grand scheme of thing is no big deal). I am SO relieved and SO damn happy!!!!! 😀 This means I do not have to spend €300 to replace my GNIB card, €30 to replace my student ID, and also whatever the heck it costs to replace my CA drivers license when I make it to the states next. The weight has been lifted!!!!!

I don't know if any of you are fellow Sex and the City fans, but I was just right behind Sarah Jessica Parker in the airport security line (she's sooo tiny. And so nice!) And then when I sat down at my gate I pulled out my phone to find my acceptance email from Glasgow waiting for me.

Best. 10 minutes. EVER!

I've got a date for Valentine's! :woot: I think it's just a friends thing since I'm pretty sure the guy has a girlfriend in Mexico... I'm just glad I'll be doing something fun instead of eating ice cream by myself or having one of those lame single friends things lol

Oh night time cold medicine how I love you. I also love that I don't have classes tomorrow or work sat because of the blizzard. Yippee!

I discovered the term "Hoof Boobies", it made me LOL. Sometimes I love moments of ridiculous immaturity.

Devyn, this gif goes awesome with your avatar. just sayin'

 never thought like that

my bowling coach told me I need to drink more.

I agree 👍

My first thought, too. Except I'd pick cows over horses any day of the week unless the horses were miniature. Miniature anything is cute 🙂

Ohh, no. I HATE mini's; they look hideous and deformed to me.

I'll take a big warmblood or a pretty paint or a sassy pony any day over a mini.

No ring yet, but he asked after a very long conversation late last night. We were just talking about how we met and what we love about each other. He said he was going to ask me soon but it somehow felt right last night after all that was said.

All depends on how you see it. He asked. I said yes. He said he will get me a ring. I said I really don't need a ring. He insisted. It's the next level of commitment I guess. We already live together. I haven't told anyone yet. Might as well wait for that ring.

I have been in two long relationships (one lasted 2.5 years, the other lasted 3.5 years) and I was really struggling to find reasons why I should be committed to these guys. I ended up breaking them both off. This is the first time I haven't had any doubts with someone I was dating, in a relationship with or had a crush on. My family and friends love him. His family and friends love me. Even after living together for 6 months, we enjoy each other's company and continue to share the same interests with each other. The only thing that drives me batty is that he a little messy!

Eharmony works, people.

I'm definitely the one in our relationship that does 75% of the cleaning. My husband isn't messy per say, but he's just not as tidy as I would like. When he leaves things out or in a place I don't think is suitable, I nicely put them away for him. Having to ask me where things are agitates him a little so he doesn't leave things out nearly as often :meanie:

I win!

My guy just has a tendency to leave a garbage on the counter instead of putting it in the trash right underneath the counter. Today, he left out an empty iced tea box, an empty wrapper beside the box, and some kind of plastic measuring cup that looked like it may have come with his protein powder but looks like garbage. There was also a pizza box under the counter that needed to go in recycling. We haven't eaten that pizza since October or November.
