Do a second residency in anesthesia, do EGD general without an airway every day of your life. Be the sycophant the gastropods want you to be, be the best you in their lives. Tell them "you decide" on mode of anesthetic, and "we don't need a tube" on an ozempic shooting tub of lard who almost certainly skipped reading the NPO part. It's just a quick scope anyway.
