Really nice!! I hope we hear from them, at least a wait list or something, I hate the silent treatment
 
Am I right in remembering that the next adcom might be at the end of this month??

I'm with you on that! So, am I to understand that since they haven't made any decision on my application since my interview in Feb that I'm headed straight to the waitlist? Somehow I don't see how that's fair, but I guess it's life.

I think if we got a letter in the mail saying "waitlist" that would be another huge blow since we waited so long for a letter just saying, hold on some more. Why can't they accept us! We will do whatever they want! 😍
 
Sine we are on SDN constantly, we should just set aside time in the day for a confrence call regarding RFUMS. :laugh:

As a side thought, how do they place people in the waitlist? In order of applying or in order of who they want in the school? My guess is the latter, but I don't think it would go my way anyway with the former because I applied late.

Yeah, I would much like to get to atleast the 1000 mark. I'm hoping that that will be the golden number and everyone waiting will get in!
 
at this point, if any school that i am waitlisted at, tells me that they will accept me on a condition that i have to work in their hospital for X amount of years...i am willing to do that....
in fact any sort of condition as long as its not too outrageous, i am willing to do it.

we keep telling each other and ourselves to hang in there...but it is getting very hard to do so as time keeps on ticking.

im all about the early morning time... nothing like waking up to a 100 kids screaming into your ear for an accetance--all on 1 phonecall.
 
I am also annoyed since I didnt interview till Feb22 and I applied in JULY!!! that is early what gives.

they might get scared to hear about 100 people on the other line and just might start handing the acceptance out. 100 vs 1...who do you think is going to win?

We should designate a leader, my vote is for DVN. We should also have a arsenal of code words just in case we need them.😎

I have been to RFU so much in the past few years and called so many times that some of the admissions office people actually know me by face:laugh:

No 😍 though.

During the week, what day do people in an office feel the best? Certainly not Monday. Indifference from tuesday to thursday. Friday is good because everyone is cheerful that the weekend is coming.....

I say we still do the minivan idea. I think seeing a bunch of depressed premeds who desperately want to attend might make a difference. :luck:

As far as I know, I am a nothing post interview, which might mean a waitlist.

we haven't been waitlisted...when our app was reviewed (atleast mine), it was neither accepted nor rejected. it was supposed to go through the next meeting and same thing happened the next meeting....

Well oddly enough, I am going to RFU in an hour to pick up a friend, he needs a ride to the airport. Maybe I will stop by the admissions office and plead our case.

i have a feeling that some people have been rejected post interview. and then there are the other people whose application just keeps on being sent to meeting after meeting with no action.

What does that mean to be put up for each meeting? Isn't that happening to a lot of us right now?

I was thinking, since I know a lot about statistics and I WAS a mathematics major, maybe I should plead my case that I'll be everyone's personal tutor when it comes to our statistics class if they'd just let me in.....

since i didn't get anything in the mail today or the past few days...i am assuming i survived also.
 
either that or I suspect that it is a preinterview rejection.. for all those waiting for an interview there and were on hold ...since their interview session has now ended they are sending out rejections?
 
actually ignore that I did confirm and that individual that posted did infact go for an interview .. so it is a post interview rejection.. although lucky for them they have an acceptance at another school (unlike some of us!!)...
 
No, that person was actually rejected post-interview, so I think we all have a shot still.

I interviewed on April 3rd but am still in the no-action pool....I hope we all make it in soon....this was my only interview but it was definitely an amazing experience. I don't know what else to do at this point....already sent the LOI.

I guess just gotta keep waiting...hopefully not until july.
