Well, I think you have a very difficult and important decision to make. On the one hand, you have received a very inviting invite from a brand new program, with hope and enthusiasm. On the other hand, you have a concrete offer from a solid program that has an establised repution, and much less risk.
One day, you will be a doctor, and you will have to make a similar type of decision with treatments: do you go with the unproven Tx that offers great promise or do you go with the Tx with has proven to be reliable.
Right now, Rocky View can offer you promises, pictures, and anonomous recommendations over the internet that will certainly benifit Rocky View. On the other hand, Western can offer you actual accounts of students who have been through their program and can attest to the strengths.
When I go on Ebay, I look at the sellers recommendations before I buy. In this case, you really don't have much of a record to go by except for the experiences of students who currently attend programs that are run by the owners of Rocky View.
I wish you the best of success in your career.
So, wait... first you jump on this thread to slam the school. Then you act as if you want to offer valuable advice and you don't even get the school's name right. I'm pretty sure that any "insight" you may have is not helpful. You are a student at AUC, I am guessing, who obviously knows little to nothing about RVUCOM. This is obvious by your statement:
"... experiences of students who currently attend programs that are run by the owners of Rocky View."
The owner of AUC is NOT the owner of RVUCOM. ROCKY VISTA (just to make the correction) is owned by the son of the man who owns AUC. It ends there.
And, just for the record, the experience of the faculty attests to the strength of the program.
However, this is also not the thread for these discussions. Please refer to past threads that address these things.
