I received an interview invitation on December 19 for Feb. 2.

I received a interview invite email in Dec as well as the interview confirmation email yesterday.

I have emailed the department twice within December and January and have yet to receive a reply. Has anyone received any new information or updates? Or is it only those who were invited for interviews receiving any correspondence now? I am tempted to call again or write another email, just because I want to know and move on instead of hopelessly waiting.

Just talked to another student. They do all their interviews on one day. Not sure why they aren't sending rejections. Maybe in case they don't get a full class. So for those in limbo, this process sucks!

Hey I went in to speak with the receptionist today and they said that they aren't finished sending everything yet!

Thanks for your guys responses. Ya I was thinking maybe they want to wait to see if everyone accepts. That is crazy they haven't sent everything yet! I wonder if there is still hope for the February 2nd interview invites if we haven't received anything yet? Wish they would send out a mass email with a modified timeline

Do you guys think that the people who received interview invites late(r) are prioritized lower than those that got their invites on time? I'm wondering if this has any bearing on whether we have a lower chance of being accepted

I received mine later then most, but the way I see it, if you got an interview then they want to meet you. Rather in first or last invites, we are all in same boat and it's time to make a good impression.

I got an Interview Update email from SMU this afternoon with the details of my interview (including the 2 interviewers). Just giving everybody else a heads up to watch out for it.
