With a tilt of her head, another agent seemed transfixed on the photographs. "I think I've seen this program before. It really does pull you in. Can you imagine slowly wasting away like that?"
"Interestingly, loss of over ten percent of total body water can cause physical and mental deterioration, accompanied by severe thirst. Death occurs at a loss of between fifteen and twenty-five percent of total body water. But frankly, once you get beyond the feeling of thirstiness, death by dehydration isn't so bad."
