I have tried to edit the PS into a unified total... 4936 characters. All ready to go!
please let me in to vet school. i love animals you see and nobody loves animals as much as i do. Just having animals growing up was not my only motivation for becoming a vet in fact i had a childhood dog a cockadoodles named Snookums that died and it changed my life forever.. The defining moment for me was when he almost died of parvo. I took him to the emergency vets, and they told me that they wouldn't save him unless I paid $1000 in cash! I couldn't believe it!!! I couldn't afford that, so I took him home. Thanks to the greedy vets who cared more about padding their wallets than the animals they claim to love, I lost not only Snookums, but 3 of my other doodles, who also came down with it that week.
I know that because of my compassion and love for people and animals alike, I will be a much better veterinarian. I would never make anyone suffer the way those vets make me and my pets suffer.
I have lots of experience with animals. I used to walk my dog when I got home from school if I didn't watch TV or play video games. I also had a hamster but he died quickly (I don't know why).
The death of my hamster Snooglewookie was a turning point in my life. It really drove home a reality of vetinery medicine that I think most other applicants don't understand: if you aren't a vet, animals can die even if you love them. This realization cemented my iron will to become a vet.
I've grown up with animals all my life so I have very unique and varied experience. We had 10 dogs total, all purebred cockadoodles. I took care of all of them. I'm very interested in behavior so I taught all my dogs tricks. I even taught one to play dead. Two of them were kind of aggressive though, and using Cesar Milan's techniques couldn't even help them, so we brought them to the pound. One of them bit our next door neighbor, and the pound worker told me they would euthanize him because he wasn't up to date on his rabies shots. I hope my other dog got adopted. I didn't just have dogs. I had a pet raccoon, two tortoises, 5 chinchillas, 3 burmese pythons (we let them go in the wild when they started eating our chinchillas), a spider monkey that I used to dress up, and 2 bobcats (defanged and declawed of course). I think my unique upbringing makes me a great candidate to become a zoo vet.
biology is my favorite class too. so i obviously love science, even though we have to take a lot of it! plants are boring though. i mean who cares about photosynthesis, lets get to saving puppies!!
Please ignore my C average in science classes, they are filled with pre-med students who think studying is more important than watching Grey's Anatomy marathons.
I I know that my poor grades in the sciences and low GRE scores may seem like a weak applicant, but my passion and personality will get me through. What kind of vet would you rather have for your pets: A nerdy vet who can recite a textbook but only cares about making money off of sick animals, or a compassionate vet like me, who will do anything to save every life???
Since my great epiphany, I have delved new depths of dedication in gaining animal experience. I am an active member of PETA, and the day I joined I burned my collection of leather shoes and purses on the front lawn of my neighborhood KFC. Please accept this humble offering as a sign of the unwavering love of all creatures and, by corollary, my promise of excellence in the vetinery profession.
I only decided to be an animal doctor last year. I used to want to be a teacher but they don't make enough money, and I know my vet makes a lot of money because the office is nice and his car is only 5 years old. Plus I don't really like people. I don't have the best people skills, but I get along great with animals. I can speak to them in their language, like when Dori speaks whale in Finding Nemo. I run a rescue group out of my house. My welfare check pays for thier food(only the best - Old Yeller) and I vaccinate them myself with those shots you can buy at the Tractor Supply. My grandpa has diabetes and I give him his shots like almost every day, so I'm already ahead of all the other people applying. I read all kinds of vet stuff on the internet and I know that Parvo is made up by vets, so I don't need to take that class either. Please let me in to your school, I won't let you down, I promise. My second cousin's husband's wife is a vet and I know I'm smarter than her.
Speaking of money, I am not too worried about the debt of vet school. I am so old that I will probably die before I have to repay my loans. Hah Hah Hah. The joke will be on them. And dont worry, my memory aint great but my vision is great and I can copy answers off the students next to me whenever necessary.
my family vet says i would be a good vet. my mom says i would be a good vet. i watch a lot of animal planet and emergency vets is my favorite show. i love when they save puppies! so my goal is to save puppies.
ps - I have a final tonight which I am going to bomb big time but at least while I am struggling I will be thinking about this message laughing hysterically. Thanks everyone.
