Hang in there! This is my second year to apply. Even with a great GPA and a decent PCAT, my chances are slim. This is the slowest process ever! The most important thing we all need to realize is this: We all are great women/men for getting this far! I'm proud of all of my constituents! Good luck! I'm sure we will figure it out! Salut!

That's not necessarily true. I was waitlisted last year and applied for this year again for the second time. They sent me few emails saying they reactivated my application and a class I gotta take to fulfill the prerequisite requirement..other than that, I haven't heard anything back from them yet either. I'm on the same boat as most of you guys here..Let's hope we hear something very soon...:xf:
 
as someone posted that for class 2014, already 8 seats are filled...........can any one is the number is 100 this year or 94?

uhmm..back in August, about 14+ seats were filled.I dont know about now.
And they said max number of seats will be 100 for class of 2014 and onward....

Got the email like 30 mins ago. Here are the available dates:

Wednesdays – October 13 & 20 and November 3, 10 & 17 from 9:00 to 12:00 and 1:30 to 4:00

Thursdays – October 14 & 21 and November 4 & 11 from 9:00 to 12:00 and 1:30 to 4:00 as well as November 18 – (afternoon only) 1:30 to 4:00

Friday –October 15 from 9:00 to 12:00 and 1:30 to 4:00

Got my interview too! Thursday October 14. Congrats to everyone else who gets an invite.
 
Got an invite this morning! I might choose to interview in November as well.
 
I had previously scheduled a tour of the school in late October and I am disappointed to say that I did not receive an interview invite.

I contacted Paige this morning and she told me they will be doing additional interviews and to keep forwarding updated transcripts. So I'm assuming that means I will hear nothing further until after I send in my Fall transcript.

My GPA is decent and I am only lacking 4 classes (3 of which I'm taking this semester) so we will see I guess......

I didn't send my fall transcript and I'm still missing a few prerequisites. I'm sure you'll hear one soon since they're still sending out interviews! :luck:
 
So I emailed Ms Paige to find out if my file is complete and she replied me this:

The first wave of interviews have just been scheduled. Interviews will continue through next year. There is always hope until you get the email saying the class is full J

oh man, i didn't got the invitation. i wonder if there is anyone who submitted their application during august and got interview invitation ?
 
For those of you that received invites, when did you submit your application?
 
With it being a rolling admissions process, I'd interview as early as possible. Just food for thought.

On a sidenote, do you remember how long after your interview you received your acceptance?

Though Sullivan was not in attendance, I checked out aacp's virtual pharmacy fair today. It was actually pretty cool. I received a lot of positive feedback from two of the other schools I am applying to. Anyways, did anyone else attend and what was there experience like?

I know this wasn't directed at me, but I just looked at my acceptance letter. I was interviewed on a Thursday and accepted the following Monday. I would say I found out a week or so later, but I'm not certain because the 'rents hid my letter from me for my celebratory dinner.

Good luck on interviews!!! Maybe I'll be seeing some of you in the next few weeks!!!:luck::xf:
 
Scheduled my interview on the 4th of November at 9:30am. Anyone else interviewing that date as well?

I am beginning to freak out , thought i had very good stats; GPA= 3.75,w As in all science and math courses except Microbio lecture, LORS: one from Chem prof, and the other from Dean of science school who is also Chem prof, just resently started working at pharmacy, some volunteer work at a hospital.

For those already in SUCOP, did any of u get ur interview invite late, if so, how late or soon did u get it?

SUCOP is the only school i applied to and i`m beginning to rethink that decision.

They should tell you when you can expect to hear something. It depends on when their admissions committee meets. When I interviewed, they met the following Friday, so I think I finally heard something back 2.5 weeks later.

When did you submit your application? They will still be doing interviews later in the year through the beginning of next so don't give up all hope.

I'm sad I didn't get an invite either. I submitted the first weekend that the application was available. Maybe they didn't like my personal statement.

Do you have the opportunity to apply to other schools? It's still early in the cycle. Good luck.

i started to freak out too. SUCOP is one of my top priority pharm schools that i want to attend. my personal statement wasn't strong enough too cuz i was in hurry to submit it.
well, now i just have to ignore it and focus on the other options.
anyhow, always keep your fingers crossed :xf:

I didn't get an invite probably because they don't look at PCAT scores which is an 85. My OGPA is 3.3 and SGPA is 3.9 and 2000+ hours as a certified tech. Good LOR's from pharmacists and profs so not sure what's going on but it's still early.

They do look at your PCAT score but only if you submit it, otherwise they won't take that into consideration.
 
If you submit your scores, they will look at it.
 
If my pharmacist send a letter of recommendation before I submit my application, will they know to keep my letter on file? I have another question is that how did you guys write a resume for this school

Look up how to write a curriculum vitae (CV)
 
Does anybody know if you reactivate your application by sending an email and updating your transcripts, do you still have to send the $100 fee?

yea just send an email to Dr. Facione for reactivation..and u do not have to pay application fee. Also update ur transcript..do asap. i reactivated mine way back in june..
 
Hey guys, I am interviewing on Nov 3rd. Who else is going to be there around that time?!

I feel like maybe it is too late to send in my application since my stat isn't all that great...?
