Also thank you to kc for ending it before I ran myself into the ground for 6 hours trying to make sure genny blocked me

There's a snow storm outside but I don't feel like jumping in snow.

Can someone please explain why KC was village read?

I had her as the one kras was protecting, but then genny confirmed she was not so it would have come out eventually.

So wait, the wolves had 3 kills?

Anyway I would like you all to know that if wolves had just let genny get lynched they would have won after the day cycle because there would have been no one to stop their night kill, and they wouldn't have even needed the Triple Kill. But they decided to make it more interesting.

Props to genny for figuring out the vital piece of information that indicated FTF had lied about being silenced, mere minutes after I was screaming about it in mod chat.

Props to the aforementioned villagers who were on the right track and were either killed for it, or their voices drowned out

Props to the wolves for wolfing just as hard as the village let them, I was also screaming about them throughout the day but they went and made me eat my words.

And props to everyone for making this a highly enjoyable game. Loved your participation. Loved how into it most everyone was.

I want to thank village for killing me when I needed them to lol. Turns out I didn't need to sacrifice myself after all tho

The ability that mpm passed down (which was passed to kc via RNG because I uh, forgot to tell her to name an heir before she died lol) was a Triple Kill that could be used in place of the regular night kill if they were able to identify the role names of 3 players. It was the only way you could die, and obviously was easier after the first time you were attacked since your role was revealed on thread.

Oh, and something I forgot to mention was that this design was also originally intended to be run as an open setup. Which may have affected how the balance played out? Probably.
then massclaim just kinda breaks the setup

The trickiest part of balancing is when you include a serial killer, as the serial killer can drastically turn the tides one way or the other depending on how they play it. That is, unless you set their win condition to be balanced in how they kill. Wasn’t overtly badly balanced, village did not do well the first half of the game, just becomes quite tricky with a serial killer, especially when you add a lone wolf on top of it (unless you make it a true faction game, but there were too many original wolves for it to function as such)

SAR could only kill EON so she was actually the most nerfed role (outside of FTB) than usual/doesn't always allow for more "fun" strategy.

It wouldn't been pretty difficult to win in a scenario where wolves achieved parity.

What role were you again?

SAR (serial killer) needed the wolves to be dead in order to gain full use of her ability and to win the game. She could have killed all the wolves if she wanted and the game would continue with her vs village. She actually was wolf hunting, she just ah...was incorrect haha

Mel (traitor) was not a lone wolf. He did not count for wolf numbers, he was a wolf-sided third party and could not kill on his own.

I think the problem here was the wolf roles themselves (in large part due to my **** up in giving them two extra kills :grumpy: ) and the rapid deaths of all the info-gathering roles.

The only passive role in the game... (a villager that reflexively kills exactly the serial killer)
Snowy, Barks, and the Lovers were also passive! So was Mel outside of the one time the wolves used him to kill, which is still sort of passive on his end since he didn't submit anything.

There really wasn't a lone wolf. Mel didn't count for wolf numbers and could only preform one kill the entire kill (providing he didn't get converted) and he was more of a puppet anyhow.

Anyways hope you enjoyed the game!

Edit: :ninja:

Thanks for the game @WildZoo @Coopah !!

I started watching Supernatural too
It’s gonna take forever since I’m a chicken and can only get through 1-2 episodes at a time
Yesss new SPN recruits is basically my goal in all of these games lol

FTF has known my role name since nearly day 1 so idk why it happened tonight :sendoff:
Whoops meant to answer this, they had to submit 3 role names correctly at the same time. They got a freebie of sorts with snowy, and then MsP (and to some extent kc) took to the thread to try to convince people to spew their names. They finally got genny the last day, so they had their 3. And that's also why MsP intentionally made herself look bad, to save genny from being lynched so they could use the Triple Kill at night.

Only you would read your own spreadsheet as having 2^x the amount of death it was supposed to have

Past Dubz: "kill 1/8th of the game at once"
Today Dubz: "kill 8 players at once? seems reasonable"

smh never role reveal ppl
I would like acknowledgement for my one smöl comment along the lines of "hey guys, maybe we shouldn't do all this talking about roles...? -- wolves could do something bad.."

Many dogs died to teach me that lesson.*

On a scale of 1 to 10, how angry were you at me in dead chat?
Honestly? Which number is the low end of the scale?

Here's what I said in dead chat, direct quote:

For the record...
I wish Pippy were here, she's definitely in dead chat saying I'm either being stupid because I can't read you for **** or wishing everyone would join me.
... considering how I had literally the whole game on my wolf list in here yesterday, I am definitely not calling other players stupid in dead chat.

😳

Though I will say when you catch a wolf in a lie it's useful. Well for me. Genny's reveal only made me trust her and no one else lol.
You both did good with this! I was a big fan of the comments you both made about using night actions to catch liars. (<-- not sarcastic, I promise)
