Hey guys! How's everyone doing? I see a lot of acceptance already rolling in. Congratulation to those who have already gotten in! My interview is in early February and I honestly cannot wait for it! I'm so excited and blessed to have this opportunity! The wait is making me go crazy! I can't imagine how I'll be after the interview is done
 
I'm excited for all of y'all! Good Luck!! For those that have gotten accepted..I am looking for roommates (preferably girls lol) for college station!

Just answer all their questions and you will be fine.and don't bother about your grades, getting the interview is what matters. Just go and talk about yourself, pharmacy and Texas A and M. And the interview has a much higher point than the PCAT score or GPA, so you will be fine. Good luck everyone

Congrats on getting accepted! I have my interview on the 29th, and I'm super nervous. Any other tips you may suggest? I've heard it's not super stressful, but I can't help but be nervous. Lol

Kevinsoft1 is right. There isn't really anything you have to worry about. I was extremely stressed out before my interview but after I had my interview, I realized that there was nothing to be stressed about lol. I wished I knew. I could've had a good night's sleep. The interview was very conversational and personal; they just want to know more about you. Just be yourself and relax. You will do awesomely!

Thank you MBSSG32! I've heard that the conversation is very relaxed, but wasn't quite sure if that was accurate. Thank you for the encouragement! By any chance do you remember about how many questions were asked? I know the interview is about 30 minutes.

I interviewed last week also, it was very nice. Regarding the questions, you should figure it out on your own like everybody else 🙂

Glad to hear it was nice. Just was curious as to how long it was. Didn't think that was a bad thing to ask. I guess it kind of just depends on how the conversation is going. Just really nervous about the whole thing.

Just relax. Trust me, if I could do it Anyone can do it. I freak out a lot for little things and this was my first interview ever. They will make you feel like you are talking to your regular friends. The interview is all about you and it is super interactive. Google regular interview questions, there isn't anything you will not expect. And look through the schools website for data and reasons why you chose this school. I wish you the best of luck. I will see you when you get accepted

Thank you kevinsoft1! I feel like you and I have similar personalities when it comes to freaking out over things like this! Lol. Thanks for the well wishes, and I look forward to seeing you around in the fall (hopefully) lol.
 
I had my interview and I'm still nervous, the wait is killing me! 🙁
 
I had mine last Friday and I'm not looking forward to waiting to hear the results. I asked, and they have one more week after this week for interviews, then about 2-3 weeks to tabulate and rank and send out offers, both by mail and phone call. Not gonna be fun!

I think I did alright.. but again, I don't know how they evaluate me. So they also told us that they would start sending out acceptance letters in 3 or 4 weeks.
There were 5 people in my group and there were 2 groups at a time. The interview was nice though, they were friendly and easy to conversate.
 
Hi all! I interviewed January 22nd. Has anyone been as anxious as I am waiting to get the results? I feel 3-4 weeks can't come any slower. I'm trying to not beat on myself with how I did on my interview. @toric1421 I'm sorry I couldn't answered you sooner. It's good that you asked questions on what to expect and how to prepare from past interviewees. That's why people from the pasts share these questions. For other future interviewees, my advice is to research on pharmacy interview questions and the school. Go over it in your head and then role play with someone to brush it up. The biggest thing is truly be yourself, let yourself shine. Don't be too nervous by allowing that to hinder your thoughts. They are all humans and understand that this is important to you so naturally you will be nervous. I wish I can take my own advice . Overall, the interview was really relaxed. We used up on all 30 minutes of the interview. Best of luck to all!!

Oh my god!!. I got acceptance mail too!.
I applied to Early Decision, and I was deferred to the regular decision. So it was too long way to wait. I wait for the result about 3 months after the interview. I applied only one school, Texas A&M and chose College Station Campus only because I live in college station. Although I do not have any religion, I think somebody continuously helps me. See you guys...

I got accepted!!!!!! Whoop!!!!!!! Congrats on everyone who got accepted too! I'm a bit sad that I won't be joining you guys in the class of 2020 and meeting A&M's wonderful faculty and students again. I had a wonderful time with my interviewers, and out of the interviews with my other schools, I really enjoyed my interview at A&M the most.

No matter what pharmacy school we go to, I wish everyone good luck on their future endeavors!

I got an acceptance today for college station!! I already got an acceptance from Texas Tech and I am still waiting for UT Austin's result. Please share any idea about why I need to choose A&M?

I received my acceptance today as well!! I am still waiting to hear from one school though. Is it allowed to pay the deposit and then change my mind depending on the news from the other school? I know I wouldn't get the deposit back but I just wanted to see if that was possible to do?

My friend who interviewed the week after hasn't heard anything so I don't think that they have sent out all of their offers! This might have just been their first round of getting them out. I don't think it would hurt to call just maybe next week call?

Try keeping yourself occupied so you aren't obsessing about it like I was. This may be the first batch, so keep your eyes out the next few days. I choose A&M because of cost, networks, solid program, strong programs in different areas aside from pharmacy, ability to move anywhere in Texas the fourth year, and I want to be an Aggie forever! Gig 'em!

Yes you can change your mind even after you have placed a deposit. You will lose your deposit though as I have for other schools.

Do you know the job placement and residency rates for A&M graduates?
 
Congrats to everyone that got accepted, looking forward to working with y'all.

As for the above question on graduation/placement/residency, graduation and placement stats are in the higher 90% range. If I'm not mistaken, lisencing exam pass rates are roughly 97%. Residency is different. From speaking with a clinical pharmacist who graduated from A&M a few years ago, she supposed it to be somewhere in the 15-20% range and those residencies were highly competitive.
 
Interviewed the 22nd and received acceptance yesterday! 5 days to send deposit??? :scared:
