Hey guys, does anyone have any advice on how to prepare for an interview with UNT?

Hours: 30 in skilled nursing facility, 278 as a PT tech in Inpatient Acute Care, 174 in OP Neuro, 20 in Pediatrics, 108 in OP - sports medicine



Extracurricular: Vice President of Physical Therapy Society (3 years), Member of a Women's Organization (2 years), Member then staff of a Freshman Leadership Organization (2 years) , Texas A&M Fish Camp Counselor (2 years)



Work: PT Tech for the past year in inpatient acute care, Wellness Tech for the past year as well, Front Desk Insurance Worker at a private PT practice for 6 months, Camp Counselor for a summer.



Volunteer: BUILD, Big Event, Shield America NOW, Bridge Ministries, Emmanuel Lighthouse Mission, Bowl and Brunch, TAMU FLED Down Syndrome Association Day Coordinator...lots more!

That's awesome, congrats! May I ask how long ago you applied and received your interview? I've been waiting to hear from them and it has been complete silence so far.
 
Two questions:

1. Has anybody heard from Texas State so far?
2. Has anybody who had an interview with Texas Tech on 10/23 received an acceptance or denial letter from them?

I applied back in July and received an invite the first week of October! I interviewed this past Friday! They said they will have a second interview wave in December, another 50 candidates.

How soon did you hear back from the time you interview with UNT to the time of when you received you’re acceptance letter?

My advice would be to look at yourself, what you have to offer, and your experiences in PT and out of PT! I truly loved MMI style because it made you think out of the box! They'd ask you a question and I always somehow found myself able to relate back to my experiences. Just like any other interview 🙂

I filled out the information through the link they sent me, but am still waiting for the confirmation email that is supposed to be sent after filling out the rsvp

Yeah me too. I messaged and called just because it said it would take 2-3 days. No answer. I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one with that issue.
 
I will most likely be declining my interview for Tx St. once I get my official acceptance letter from UTSW! Hope it opens up a spot for someone!

It came esterday evening, but I saw it this morning! All it said was that an update had been posted to your application.
 
Does TXST send emails for rejections? I haven’t got an email from them yet and their website doesn’t specify sending updates for anything other than interviews.
