anjak I would just call the office. Unfortunately, like all UT schools, they are a huge entity. It may very well be that the people in charge of the web site haven't updated the information. Don't panic. If you can't get a straight awnser, PM me and I will contact someone and find out for you.

Much thanks, Roja! I called SA today and they told me that as long as your secondary is postmarked by November 1st, it will be considered. Another thing she let me know was that their last interview dates will be during the middle of December. The last interview invitations will be sent out two weeks before hand, so if you don't hear from them at that point, that sucks 👎 . I'm hoping that they don't force me to show up for an interview uninvited, as the possibility of being thrown into the street isn't too appealing. Later

Currently, I'm taking offers for anybody who wants to travel to the beautiful Nacogdoches set in the deep piney woods of East Texas to give a 40 minute seminar on endocrine disorders of the adrenal cortex. Anybody??

I just called San Antonio and they told me that I have been invited for an interview on th 15th of Nov! 🙂 🙂 🙂 the lady was super-nice and told me the invite was in the mail! For those of you who haven't heard from SA yet, I'd say call them up. Hopefully she will still be around and give you good news too.
This is my second interview, TCOM was my first! 🙂 Someone up there does love me...yipeeee I will have a good weekend now

I got my first invite today after my application was sent to the schools last Thursday. My invite is for UT-Houston on November 12. I see UT-Lilly will be there also. Hope to meet up with some of you guys. Let's hope this is the first of several more interviews to come.

I took the April MCAT and retook in August. I waited for my August score before submitting my application though. My application was complete at TMDSAS last Thursday. Hope this helps.

Yah, the last interview date is December 13. Does anyone know if they interviewed in January last year? So I guess that means Dec. 1 or bust! ***Fingers crossed***

i did the same thing last year...and i wish i had just sent everything in early. no worries though...i still got 3 invites before the end of december and i'm in med school now...

Anybody have any special Halloween plans? Parties? I went to an outdoor costume party tonight...unfortunately, I forgot to bring my Off! because within 10 mins of arriving, I had 6 mosquito bites. By the end of the night, I had a total of 13 bites on various parts of my body--one of which ended up on my forehead! Of course, I would have to be the type of person whose mosquito bites swell up to the size of golf balls. Imagine, if you will (if you can), what I will look like tomorrow.

Can you all be specific about how A &M impressed you?

One more thing I forgot, they actually tell you how to go about getting the best financial aid package you can (ie submit the FAFSA in late January, put school codes for ALL schools you could go to on it, and to look for scholarships everywhere).
BTW, what schools offer scholarships and how do we apply for them? Applications are almost done, so we need something to do besides SDN to pass the time until the match!

Wow, it seems to be raining interview 'round here over the past few days, that's sweet. I can add a droplet, UTMB sent me the big envelope which I got on Friday, so I'm pretty stoked. Congrats to all on the invites, and try to stay outta jail this halloween when you're partyin'. I'd imagine adcoms look down upon criminal records. Maybe it could make for a good ec to add to your app? Eh, who knows. Anyway, I'll stop babbling. Have a good weekend everyone

Got my interview packet from UTMB today in the mail. What date is your interview? mine is 12/3.

I'm up on 12/1. I was in Galveston yesterday for the first time, hanging out on the beach and enjoying the good weather. Seems like a pretty mellow place to spend four years, at least in terms of the physical environment. Can't say I'm a fan of the rusting oil rigs, but it may suit someone else's fancy. Saw Galactic play at the Meridian last night in Houston, pretty damn good show. Here's to finding employment...
