I don't know that this will help with your indecision, but here are my thoughts:

  • Of course would love to play with you!!! If you have time and want to play, you should play!
  • Having @fruitsalad available to step in was super helpful last game. There were requests for subs in both supernatural and n00b game that went unheeded, so it seems like on average you're probably no less than 50/50 to get into the game as the first sub
  • Even though I didn't get into the last game as a sub, it nice to follow along without the pressure of staying up to date with every single vote, or need to unravel all the known and unknown mechanics. And once the game got down to the wire and it became clear I wouldn't be needed as a sub, I got to join the tot chat so it was interesting seeing if my read was the same as the tots (it was, but we were all wrong).
  • If you play this one, are you going to be able to play CYO too? If you can't (or shouldn't) do 3 games in a row, would you rather play The Good pWWace, or CYO? Personally, I was really looking forward to this game (obviously) so I intentionally sat out a game so I wouldn't be burnt out already heading into this game. But maybe you have better time management and/or self control than me, and perhaps this is less of a concern for you.
Like I said, nothing definitive, but those are my thoughts 🙂

I mean... I am still on leave so I arguably would have the time depending on how soon it runs.

On the other hand, it's been so long I'm basically a noob again. Except now I'm a sleep deprived noob.

You should play! PBC played a game a little while ago! It's like riding a bike, except with murder. You definitely don't forget how to do that!
