This game WILL NOT be standard mechanics. It will be an experience. If you prefer open setups, standardized games, or having any idea of what the fork is going on, this is not the game for you.

Setup: role madness, closed. Off the rails. Bordering on bastard? You know us. It'll be a good time and you may be dizzy afterward.
Participation Requirements: PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS GAME WILL HAVE A STRICTER PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT THAN MY PREVIOUS GAMES. I have been highly disappointed by some of the behavior in recent games, and it will not be tolerated. Civility expectations will be clearly laid out in the rules post for the game. Players will receive a single warning if they go against the player code of conduct; subsequent violations will be punished by death 🪓

Please note that the mods have a Zero Patience Threshold (ZPT) for incivility, personal attacks, and unsportsmanlike behavior. If we see this in our game, you will be removed from gameplay without warning. We put this rule in the sign up thread so it isn’t a surprise at the start of the game. If you cannot abide by this, don’t sign up. Keep it friendly and civil, or keep your lips ZPT. Any questions about this policy can be directed to shorty.​

Start Date: Once the current game is done. We would like a minimum of 9 players, more happily welcomed! If we are having a hard time filling the roster, we will table this game if needed so that AM can run Choose Your Own when planned.

Also I don't know if it was said in the opening post I just read and immediately forgot but this game will be based on the first season of the good place. If you have any desire to watch the show, I'd recommend binging the first season so nothing is spoiled for you. It's a pretty amazing show to experience for the first time unspoiled.

See above 🙂 I am cautiously optimistic the current game is nearing its conclusion...?

So, I have the same concerns as you. But with a minimum of 9 players maybe it won't run super long? Also I think we all get that it's the holiday season, so a different level of engagement would be understandable 🙂

ETA--It looks like shorty is gonna start after Thanksgiving

I won't be traveling for the holidays because I have to WORK but also we have minimal scheduled procedures next week because of the HOLIDAY so I will be BORED and BLOATING THE THREAD

One of my fav series, the first 2 seasons were awesome. For years I thought it was only 2 seasons, eventually got around to the rest.
