maybe when i started this thread, i should have specified that you would hear -positive- news from one of your schools. if i'm not mistaken, i've been put into the 'further consideration' pile at albany 24 hours after posting. whoops.

I, on the other hand, so far have FABULOUS news. I haven't been rejected from anywhere new yet.. nor have I been put on terminal hold from anywhere new yet. OUTSTANDING! No news at all! YIPPEE!!!!!!


On another note, I am almost out of tupperware for my baked goods. Must make a run to the store for Gladware. gd.. get ready. It's comin' soon.

I got whupped at the UCSD interview, so I need all the luck I can get to get accepted in spite of all the stupid responses I gave! :luck:

alright! UCSF was... 1.5 weeks ago! Unless some adcom member is transporting files, slips on wet floor, my file breaks their fall, they notice it and love it, it's going to take a lot of luck for good news in 2 days.

Well, all I received was the PennState, "Continue to Review" letter.
 
To all the schools I applied to in the Northeast (you know who you are), this is your opportunity to give me an interview :laugh:
 
Has this thing worked for ANYONE? I'd think it would have statistically, but I haven't seen anyone post that it worked...Oh, for those of you waiting on UCLA, you might want to check your status page every once in a while. My interview invite showed up on there at least a week before I got it via snail mail.
 
hey guys...why don't we add a poll to this thing....the news you've heard since you posted this thread (hold, acceptance, interview, rejection, not a damn thing) and you can vote for every piece of information you get....i think the op has to add the poll though....that way we can see, statistically, if our good luck charm is, in fact, defective
 
I need all the luck I can get. I just got my first rejection letter this morning, so here's hoping all that changes after I post. But it's a Saturday, so is it 48 business hours then?

Ok... so I posted to this thread on Thursday thinking I wouldn't get any good news on Saturday (how would i hear anything on saturday??)... BUT after getting off my 12 hour shift, I got home and got an interview invite from West Virginia in the mail!!! And... being out of state, that REALLY means something!!!

woooooooooooo the thread does work!!!!!!!!!
 
Well, I didn't get an interview invite, nor did I get an acceptance. BUT.. I did *not* receive any new rejections! Yay me!
 
If this doesn't work, do I get my money back? Wait, did I pay?

ok, so if this thread could help me out right about now, that'd be grrrreat. i should be hearing back from a school post-interview any day now, and i have an interview at a top choice school on monday. yikes! c'mon, big money, big money, big money, no whamies...

This thread is awesome. I posted a reply and then a day later I got an acceptance to Penn State.
