I interview on January 16th too! I haven't heard anything which is weird. During the interview, the school seems a little disorganized. I think it's because of the transition of a new office admin.
 
LECOM told me that Im missing a science teacher LOR. Do y'all think its worth it to try and send an LOR to them this late in the application cycle?

Are you actually missing one? Because my status kept saying that I was missing one too, but I actually had it. I reached out to them, they double checked it and accepted it.

If they told you, you were simply missing a LOR then it can't hurt to double check that they have all of your LORs or to send an additional one in.

You have nothing to lose by sending in an additional LOR.

Congrats!! That’s amazing! Did you send them your letter of intent? Also, they said this upcoming week they will start informing students?

For everyone that has asked within the past few weeks, this proves that the class is NOT full, as acceptance offers are still actively being sent out.
 
Just got an interview invite. Does anyone know how full the class is yet? I'm OOS and the interview dates are all in March so I feel like chances are low of an acceptance.

Right now their Facebook group is 68 including students who already attend their, usually their class size is about 100
 
Has anyone received any acceptances today? I interviewed jan 30th and they said it would be about 2 weeks. Haven’t heard anything

If you got an invite and haven't been accepted to another school, I would strongly suggest accepting and attending your interview. If you turn it down, you may want to start strengthening your application for the next cycle.

Class size is 105. Interviews being sent out = class NOT full.

What were your stats if you don’t mind sharing, because I’m still waiting for an interview !
 
Who else goin to the March 5th interview? I've been studying for DAT already to prepare for next cycle since most schools didn't really reply to me, then I got this! So I hope there's still a real chance for acceptance.
 
Just to let you all know, there are plenty of people in current LECOM classes that interviewed all the way up to May and still got in. There's a lot of movement all the time. Even after classes started, people were still dropping and coming in for the first week or so.

I always recommend going with the earliest date you can manage when it’s post-December. The longer you wait, the more seats are possibly filled.
 
Just got an interview for the 12th. Can who already interviewed give some insight on the interview itself?
 
Mine still says Under Review and LECOM Portal says it will send it to Committee for further review. I applied October and I have not heard anything from school. I don't know if this is a good sign or not. I am really thinking they even forgot my application in somewhere or something.

Same boat here.. Do you think it is advisable to call them and inquire? or send a letter of intent of some kind?

The interview is a group interview with 6 interviewees and 2 faculty. I was super nervous about group interview because all of my rest were one-on-one, but it actually ended up being my favorite interview because I felt like I had other people in it with me! You will stay in one room for most of the day for presentations, soap carving (Do not freak out about this! It is not as dire as people think it is, mine was meh and I still got in), and lunch with the dental students. You will also have a tour towards the end with dental students. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask!
