*** The Official LECOM Dental Class of 2019 Interview/Acceptance Thread ***

Got mine several weeks ago, my status says "waiting on all letters of recommendation to make decision" now.
 
I sent my fee to lecom so I am waiting for my committee letter to go through now! pretty excited!
 
has anyone else had trouble finding the "admissions tab" on their portal? it says "select the Admissions tab then select the blue "Applicant DMD - Bradenton" link on the left side of the page", but i do not have that on my portal?

So when you click on the link in their email it will take you to their portal page. You first have to sign in with the username and password they assigned you. Then, right below the "my LECOM" logo there are several tabs. Click on the admissions tab. The blue lettering for the supplemental is on the left hand side for Bradenton.

Thanks! I finally got it to work, I had to wait a little while for it to show up, the tab was literally missing and i emailed lecom's portal technical person and they fixed it i guess.

Did you guys receive a supplemental from LECOM through email or is it online? thanks
 
When did you guys receive your supplemental? I submited my app on 7/7 and yet to hear back from them...
 
I checked my admissions status on the LECOM portal and it said I'm missing 6 credits of English... Do they require all prereqs to be completed before applying? And do they not accept AP/IB credit?

If you are able to check your status that means that they contacted u and sent u the supplemental app and a link to pay the goods right???

Yeah they e-mailed me saying they received and processed my supplemental application and told me to check my admissions status through the portal
 
My first year, wondering when they will send out interview invites
 
According to last year's thread it was July 25th when someone noticed on the portal that they were invited for an interview.
 
Some interviews have already been sent out, check the 2014-2015 sticky thread.
 
Where can we find that thread at Rendal?

Glad they are starting! Those people were very early in sending out their AADSAS --hopefully the rest of us will hear good news soon.
 
Received an interview invitation today via email. OOS from Georgia. 21 TS/21 AA/19 PAT, 3.76 overall GPA.
 
Do you guys have LECOM listed on your aadsas under decisions?
 
Hello all! I got my first interview from LECOM this morning via email. OOS: CA. Scheduled for Aug 28th! 🙂
 
Congrats to those who got an interview! Were you guys in the 1st batch as well? I was 5th...the suspense is killing me!! :arghh:
 
LECOM isn't under my AADSAS, the only information I have on my admissions decision is through their portal on their site. I was also first batch, and thank you!!

LECOM isn't under my AADSAS portal either and I'm third batch. I've also heard some schools don't even use the AADSAS decision portal.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they don't use the AADSAS portal.
 
I scheduled my interview for September 11th. Anyone else going to be there then?
 
For those of you that received interview invitation, did you submit the secondary application? I just got an email saying it's complete and under review.
 
I just received an interview invitation this morning!! Unbelievably excited right now. I'll have to check my work schedule tonight and coordinate PTO with my classes before scheduling. I'm thinking August 28th would be best (not much going on the first few days of class).

PS I'm third batch and my application was mailed on 7/7.
 
I'm interviewing too! I can't wait, don't have a date yet though. I'll post when I'll be there once I get it nailed down.

All I know is what was mentioned in the email I received eg learn about PBL, tour, etc. I chose Sept 9th for my interview...just worked out best with my schedule. Who else is going that day?
 
Well, got all excited I had gotten an interview, just looks like a glitch repeat email saying they completed my secondary a month after I already got the same email.

Have received that email twice today......

I booked my flight and rental car last night 😀 I'm not sure when the day will end so I just booked the latest flight home, which leaves at 740pm. Hope that's ok.

Same here. My flight leaves at 6:50 pm. Hopefully the interview isn't 8 hours lol

I have to have rental car back by 630 and it's an hour to Tampa. I wouldn't think the interview would take 8-9 hrs.
 
When were your "folder items" under the LECOM portal finished? Under "My Folder Items," it is still not filled out. My app was mailed 7/18. I'm assuming I won't be getting an interview until this portion is complete. Did those of you who received an interview notice this?

I would definitely call! The one I had at GRU last year lasted from 8 AM until 5 PM and I wasn't the last one to leave.
