I am going to book the same flight as well. Leaving florida at 7.44pm. It only takes 20 minutes to get to the airport from NOVA so I think we'll be alright.
 
Got an interview invite today!

My stats for those interested:

DAT: AA/TS/PAT/RC 22/20/20/30
cGPA: 3.65 sGPA: 3.51
State: Michigan
AADSAS mail out date: 8/2

I think I'll be scheduling my interview for the first week of November, good luck to everyone😀!
 
Am I the only crazy one that wants to fly to MIA just that I can fly with AA so I can hang my suit? I'm close to JFK, and JetBlue doesn't have any closets on board.

Pretty sure they do but they're out of EWR which is 40 min further for me than JFK (+$30 in tolls). MIA is only 15 min further than FLL to NOVA.

I don't think it's crazy, however if you fly in a day earlier you may be able to get your suit ironed and cleaned at the hotel. Nova interview doesn't start until 11:45 so there should be plenty of time. Just call the hotel you are staying in to make sure.

Any indications????
 
I scheduled my interview today for November 14th. Does anyone have a interview that day? How do you know which batch you belong to?

I am so excited!!!!!

Congrats! I'm interviewing the week before you.

To figure out your batch, look at your AADSAS mail-out date. 6/28 was first batch, then every Friday after that are the following batches. My mail-out date was 8/2 so I'm 6th batch. Hope that helps!

those 15 minutes are a LIE. I once spent $54 on a taxi from FLL to north miami. MIA is in south miami, further from FLL. But if u can spring it, then go for it 🙂

does everyone have NOVA in their portal on AADSAS?
 
I also don't have it and I'm interviewing on Wednesday.
 
Nova typically doesn't show up on your portal until Dec. 1st. If you would like to know the status of your application the best way to find out is calling the school. They are always helpful but don't call all the time and sound desperate. Nova is a school that works quickly to go through applications. If you have any more questions about Nova as a school pm me, I am currently a D1. Good luck everyone.

The interview is really laid back. Just go in be yourself and you'll do well. It will probably be one of your easiest interview. But, if you want some more help visit the interview feedback section on student doctor.

Does anyone know where I can find information on specifics of Nova's DMD program curriculum? I can't seem to find it on their site..
Also, is Nova PBL?

I have the stats from last year, but they're different for in state and OOS. which are you? I'll check the numbers from the ADEA AADSAS book I bought

Awesome school, really relaxin interview, Interview is 1 on1 and Extremely friendly faculty. Just relax, you will be fine. Normal conversational interview and I really like how they have all health professional department in one building.

I interviewed this month. I really liked the school and the students seemed very happy. The interview made me want to attend this school even more. I would be so happy if I get accepted.
They're really just trying to get to know you 🙂

Did they ask any tricky questions? I noticed on the interview
FeedbAck they ask questions like if you could have dinner with one person or
Fly back on the airplane with someone who would it be? Or is it just
The typical standard interview questions like weakness/strength etc?
 
I have heard that NOVA interviews 500 people and accepts 300? Is this true?

Not sure about how many they accept, but Dr. Lippman told us that out of ~2500, they interview ~500.
