Is this statistic accurate? How are there so many of us on SDN that didn’t get accepted yet? They only reject like 20-25 in state kids that interview. This is wild man

last year they got 247 in-state applicants. They said they take about 64 people to each interview session and there's 4 of them but the first two are mostly out of state students and the last two are mostly in-state students. So that's maybe 128+ in-state interviewed students. Last year the class was 104 in-state students out of a total of 120 students. Is this statistic accurate?
Not sure. idk how many people they interview who are in state but they said there’s about 64 applicants in each interview. They accept 104-107 instate studentsIs this statistic accurate?
I see. However I noticed this year they were sending out more oos invites than normal because in the past they would have 1 event for oos student but this year there were two events majority of whom were oos so that might have an impact?last year they got 247 in-state applicants. I wasn't offered any scholarship. Was anyone offered a scholarship with their acceptance today?
I'm not sure, I figured that if we were waitlisted we would have found out about that by now as well. They are supposed to close soon. I'm not sure if they're done calling or if they'll be staying later which has happened before.I see. I know someone who was waitlisted last year and they said they got the waitlist email around 6pm bc they didn’t finish up calling until 5pm. From postings on here though, it seems like they ending calling around 1pmI'm not sure, I figured that if we were waitlisted we would have found out about that by now as well. Theres not much we can do now so just be patient. No point in worrying.. wont solve anything.I interviewed 11/16 and have not heard ANYTHING. I am extremely nervous and confused because of how many in state people on SDN have not heard anything. I am also in state and was under the impression that they did not deny many in state people. Do people think we still have hope that have not heard yet or should I give up? Would love some support...I am stressed out.
Interviewed same date and have not heard anything!!And you havent heard anything either way either? Maybe they are just behind then, that makes me feel a lil better!

I did call the admissions office around 4 and the man I talked to said they were finished calling for acceptances. But someone just came on here and said they got a call after that.... highly confused :/
That's so weird because the lady who called me said they were still making calls???I did call the admissions office around 4 and the man I talked to said they were finished calling for acceptances. But someone just came on here and said they got a call after that.... highly confused :/
The man also could have been confused or thought he knew they were done and they aren’t. What an emotional roller coaster this isThat's so weird because the lady who called me said they were still making calls???
There's only one man who works at the front desk; the people who make the calls are the 2 women, the assistant dean and the person who took over terrys placeThe man also could have been confused or thought he knew they were done and they aren’t. What an emotional roller coaster this is

I'm thinking the same thing, still just want to know thought! Like if we didnt get accepted just tell us!!!! So we can be done stressingi feel like 2 people would’ve been able to make like 50-60 calls each over 9 hours + 1 hour lunch break. I think the rest of us have just landed a seat on the waitlist... which won’t move at all for IS

You would think they would want to relieve our stress and anxiety with finals and stuff. This has been such a stressful day. I just wish I knew good or bad. I have heard they call some people the next day but I do not know if thats true or not?Yeah I agree. The stress is ruining everything. I was burnt out from stress by like 12 pm today... let alone now at 7
I do know that last year they made some calls the day after. I thought it was mainly out of state but apparently they don't do them in a particular order so maybe not.You would think they would want to relieve our stress and anxiety with finals and stuff. I haven't received a waitlist email yet.So....so far nobody has gotten waitlist emails?
And is anybody on here apply to the care program? Didnt know of that played a role, cuz apps for that arnt due till friday
I'm going to call tomorrow and ask if I am on the waitlist because I didn't receive any information. I'm not sure if that means they are completely done or if they were just done for the day because I know that in years past some calls were made on the second day. I'm just confused because people usually receive waitlist information the day that they send out calls.Hi guys, in-state here as well. I called the admission office around 2 pm and Andrew told me "unfortunately, we are done sending out acceptance calls." Not sure if I should accept this as getting rejected or have a little bit of hope
Someone just got a call at 530 tho?Hi guys, in-state here as well. I called the admission office around 2 pm and Andrew told me "unfortunately, we are done sending out acceptance calls." Not sure if I should accept this as getting rejected or have a little bit of hope
The fact that there's so many 11/16 people without a waitlist response makes me wonder if there's still calls to go out for some reason. The only thing that worries me is that admissions themselves have told several people that they're done calling so I don't think that's a good sign as they're more reliable compared to people on SDN.I’m instate too, haven’t heard anything yet, interviewed on 11/16. Hopefully they’ll call us sometime tomorrow.

Everyone who interviewed and did not get accepted is put on the waitlist. The applicants who did not get invited for interview are rejected.Just out of curiosity.... do most people get placed on the waitlist or can we assume most people get rejected and few are waitlisted?
