hey y’all! For those accepted - does anyone know how important the open house is? I’d have to fly in and miss class so I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth it

I interviewed October 7. I did not send a letter of interest before the interview invite. I did send a letter of intent after getting waitlisted.

Have they done any interviews since pre-December? I'm so confused about what their process this year. I have a hunch they'll send out interviews or acceptances on Monday based on the timing of the "are you still interested" waitlist email, but who knows?

Based on my understanding there have been no interviews since post-December even though the class is not filled.. There has been 2 waves of rejections recently, and people on the waitlist got an update email. I hope they are sending out interviews soon because the process has been daunting.

They probably filled half the class already with pre-Dec interviews and then another 40 or so more coming from their post-bacc program. It's probably 75% full.

A current post-bacc student I know said only the top 15 students were accepted from his class, the rest were waitlisted.

Oh wow so they are changing it every year. Waiting for their spring semester grades? Are they in the same waitlist pool as other applicants?

He made it sound like it’s the same waitlist and is really bummed out about it, but I’m not 100% sure of the admissions side of it.
