Just got invited to interview. They offered me 3 different dates, all in January. Seems they only interview on Wednesdays but tend to have morning and afternoon sessions.

When did you submit your application?

I submitted it the first day the application portal opened. They emailed me on June 18th to verify that my application was complete. I also retook the DAT in lat August which may have affected when I got the interview invite.

When do you have to get back to them about the january interview ?
They didn't give a deadline. The email just says to choose either the morning or afternoon session from one of the 2 dates and that they will email you to choose another date/session if the one you chose is full.

Hi all! Just wondering if anyone has any luck of rescheduling Touro interview from pre-Dec to post-Dec? I have a pre-Dec interview at Touro but I have already had other 8 interviews. As Touro is not my top choice and it is relatively expensive to travel there, I am considering rescheduling to post-Dec. But I heard situations of applicants having their applications withdrawn for rescheduling from pre-Dec to post-Dec? Any advice? Thanks a lot!

can any d1, d2, or d3 shed some light on how much each year comes out to be? ik the website says like 100k, but how accurate is that?

For those who have interviewed, how many candidates were there with you? Also since they started interviewing relatively late (basically november), do you think post december acceptance chances are decent?

does anyone know what the interview day will be like? Thanks in advance! 🙂

Pretty relaxed. Started with lunch and a short presentation. Then, one on one interviews and a tour of the facility. NYMC tour is optional, by the way.

What was the interview like? Was it conducted by faculty or an adcom representative?

It can be both the faculty or adcom rep. Out of all the interviews I had I was really relaxed. Rather than a strict format it was very conversational.

Well that's great! I have my interview of Wednesday so I just wanted to see what it was like. What questions did they ask, if you don't mind me asking.

I think it depends on your interviewers. I had a discussion about current dental issues with my interviewer.

Hello,
Has anyone who Interviewed on December 4th heard back yet?
Thanks

Thanks! So, based on what you said, I assume I was not selected.
I was there december 4th afternoon session. The admissions coordinator said we can expect to hear back from the next day up to 3 weeks after our interview date. Wouldn't lose hope!

I was there the afternoon session too. Probably I missed that part. That's great news. Thanks a lot!

Hello, For those of you that have interviewed what time exactly did you finish just so I know in order to book my flight. Thanks

I think we finished a good 30-45 minutes before we were scheduled to end. The optional campus tour is optional (obviously) and is self-guided, so its definitely not necessary to do it if you're strict on time. It also depends on what time your interview is scheduled. My group, there were 3 different interview times. Basically you were free to go after you finish your interview (earlier your interview time, earlier you can leave). The admissions coordinator will talk a bit with you when your group isn't interviewing, but it's nothing long or extensive.

Just got called for an interview 2 days ago (Scheduled mine for 1/15/2020), but on the email, it says they only do it Wednesday.
I had a pre-December interview/acceptance with NYU already, but was wondering any insight about the school, the relationship between faculty and students, degree requirements, patient pools and if there is a good amount of cases you get

Appreciate the help in advance!

Accepted today after a Post December Interview this past Friday !
Congrats! How was your interview? Did they ask any specific questions? Did they ask about grades or DAT score? I have an interview this wednesday, kinda nervous!

Honestly all my interviews have been pretty relaxed. I havent had one ask about any negatives on my application.
They asked me some specific questions like about some of my volunteer work I did, What I did in college EC wise and how my friends would describe me.
