Thanks! I interviewed I'm Feb 7! And yes, I knew the committee was meeting on Friday so I sent the email that afternoon asking for my updated status. But my aadsas has not changed.

Tufts just updated the AADSAS portal. I found out Friday, but now it's official 🙂 c/o 2017
 
So much for accepting 80% of the interviewees, I just got waitlisted.
 
quick question : how do you know if your wait listed or accepted? does offer made definitely mean accepted?

I don't know. I got waitlisted and I interviewed in early Feb. Let's just say I am pretty depressed....
 
Can anyone please provide some info about interviews in march? I do not want to shell out cash for an interview if chances are, it's for a waitlist :/. Tufts is one of my top choices though but i already have one acceptance at an equally expensive school which i like. Do you guys think its worth it to attend this interview in march?

I need to find a roommate!! Ive found a few nice and close apartments, but I dont want to move forward and get on waitlists until I know I wont go into that alone. Where are you guys looking to find eachother?

They had about 86 spots filled with 150 students that were pending their decision ~ 3 weeks ago based on this thread. That is then combined with this recent round of acceptances.Can anyone provide us with some info about interviews in March. Based on past threads, it seems like March interviews are for waitlists. Is this also the case this year?
 
Is it true that March interviews are for waiting list? I heard that the class is not filled up yet which means there will be a competition between the waitlisters and the new interviewees?

Since it costs a fortune to have a car in Boston I'm going to say public transit.

I'm gonna go ahead and hope I'm apart of the last batch before waitlists. Keeping my fingers crossed! SO EXCITED!

Unfortunately, people get waitlisted in every batch.
 
From today's phone call, she said that there are 50 spots left as of today. Can anyone confirm about how many will be left by March?
 
guys... since they gave us interviews that means they have spots! do not count it as a probabilities with math
they already have a waiting list and they can fill up the class with but they want to get the best of the best so they are still interviewing
I am so happy with the March invitation and so excited about Tufts! keep in mind that there are a lot of people still waiting and begging for a wait list spot... when you got invited then you have a chance 🙂

Why would they keep interviewing if they have people on the waitlist? Does this not make sense?

why not? a lot of schools are still interviewing and they have waiting list... the new interviewees will compete with the waitlisted students for the remaining spots because they might get better candidates in the new group of interview

all what I want to say is not to give up until you get the rejection letter... and getting late interview is way better than getting a rejection or waiting till get rejected in April or May!

Since the last wave of acceptances was given out on Feb 15th (Friday), these people will probably have 2 weeks (until march 1st) to accept or deny their offers. So, this means that most people will have finalized their decision a few days before march 1st. I think Feb 26th or 27th would be a great time to call and get a more accurate number on how many spots would be left for march interviewees. I know its quite close to march, but maybe you can arrange your travels in such a way that you can use the few days to cancel your arrangements if need be. I wish you best of luck.

Is it possible for more interview invites? I applied early oct. 21aa 23ts 22pat sGPA 3.3 oGPA 3.6. Lots of volunteer and shadowing experience. I got rejected from midwestern il and lecom without interviews. But I was interviewed by nyu nova utsd and UTHSCSA.

At my interview, they said that the waitlist depends each year. Last year I think they accepted 2-5 students off of their waitlist and the year before that was about 23-25? I don't remember the exact numbers, but she just said that is varies from year to year.
 
Got my acceptance letter in the mail.damm that was quick lol. Will definitely be going. See you guys in august 🙂

I live upstate ny in rochester. Yh I was suprised it came in two days !

I think you can pretty much count on the 23-25 number. There is no way Tufts waitlist only moves 2-5 spots. Come April 1st there will be a big wave of offers. You can count on that.

Why April 1st? Is that the second deposit due date? Hopefully it moves in two weeks, because that is when wait list deposits are due and maybe some will decline.
