Yes, I am in the same boat minus an interview. I turned in my secondary towards the end of September and haven't heard a peep since.

I didn't hear for about a month after I returned my supplemental. Decided to email and got a call a few hours later with an interview invite! Obviously your results may vary, but they told me they simply hadn't gotten to my application yet. At my interview, Dr. Filler said they hadn't nearly filled their class yet and will be interviewing weekly for a while with a break in late November/December I think

Ah, well that puts me a bit at ease. UAB's Pre-Health program takes quite a while to get our composite letter together and sent in so my application wasn't technically complete until September.
 
I got the call this morning just before 10:30! Is there a facebook group or anything?

I interviewed on September 23rd
In case anybody wants to know here's my DAT
TS 22/ AA 22 / PAT 21/ BIO 24/ GC 20/ OC 21/ RC 26/ QR 18

Looking forward to meeting everybody!
 
Call from Dr. Filler 10 am I think!! He's so nice :happy: Call is from a blocked number but I don't know why.
Apparently, they call about half the class today and half throughout the week, so nobody lose hope please!
 
For those of you accepted, are you in state or OOS?

Is anyone still receiving phone calls? I am an OOS student still waiting for news.

Congrats! Did Dr. Filler tell you about notifying the other half throughout the week? UAB is my first choice and still haven't heard anything.

No, I heard that through the grapevine haha. I know a few other people applying (I'm in-state). Good luck though!! UAB is amazing and I'd assume if you had an out of state interview your odds are pretty good.

What did you say in your email? There are a few other schools that I am in the same situation where I have filled out supplementals, yet not received an invitation to interview. Did you just express your interest in the school and wanting to hear from them?
 
Thank you! And if you don't mind me asking, when is the first deposit due? Just trying to gauge when I may (hopefully!!) hear back. I'm OOS

Yes! I tried to be very polite and express interest in the school (gave a reason or 2) and also asked if it were possible that I could know the status of my application.

The letter says they would like a $200 deposit by January 2nd
 
I interviewed back in August and haven't heard anything from them since... should I send an email asking for the status of my application or just keep waiting a few more weeks?

During Dr. Filler's lunch talk at my interview he stated that it just means that they have not made a decision on your application yet. He also stated that he is pushing to be done everything by the end of January/beginning of February. Personally I would wait until around that time but its up to you.

Thanks for doing this, but I've heard that the president of the class will make a Facebook page once everyone gets in and settled. I could be wrong though.
 
Got a letter in the mail putting me on the alternate list, OOS. Turned down the position though to go to a state school! Best of luck to everyone!
