The rigorous, highly scheduled, six-week summer program is designed to prepare and orient entering students to the medical school curriculum, which begins in September, and is intended to help students adapt to the professional school setting, meet new classmates and faculty, become acquainted with the surrounding communities, and find living accommodations. On-campus housing during the regular academic year is provided to students who qualify according to the Federal Health Careers Opportunity Program guidelines. ••••would students who did poorly in biochem as a undergrad be able to participate in the program if they wouldn't qualify socioeconomically? i'm thinking this program might give me some hope of getting accepted next year since i bombed biochem.
