That sounds like a rumor without any survey data or scientific studies.. as long as you talk about yourself, you should be fine. I think challenges coming from interviewing process are nothing compared to ones from D1.

What is the latest interview someone has received on the thread so far? October?
OOS here. I have my interview set for September 30.
How soon should we expect to hear after submitting the supplemental?
I received an interview invite about two weeks after submitting the supplemental.
It really depends. I got my interview 2 days after I submitted my supplemental
If the gatorlink ID is part of the supplemental application they sent you, this probably means you passed the first hurdle and you are most likely invited for the interview.
Has anyone received any correspondence from the school?
Since when? Lots of people have interviewed already

just curious. I still have not got a supplemental application
When did you apply? I submitted early June, took my DAT later in the month and didn't hear from them until early August. So I would expect even more waiting time now that we're in the middle of the cycle.
I got an application recieved and processing email on 8/31 but when I spoke with them last (over the phone about a LOR that wasn't yet submitted ) I heard that they are very backed up. It's just very uneasy not hearing from my top choice school 🙁
Wierd that I got a supplemental from here...still no invite even though they received my supplemental late july

I would do air bnb. Gainesville is cheap but no need to spend a lot of money.
Did anybody who interviewed here have their "School Decision" return to "Application Complete" on AADSAS after interview?

Super solid stats but UF is really OOS unfriendly and this is pretty late in the game. If you have the extra money, no harm in trying! If I recall, their supplemental is the least expensive I've seen. 🙂

The same thing happened to me! It went from "Invited for Interview" to "Application Complete"
My interview is on 19th as well, in the afternoon; I am planning to stay at my friend's; if it gets cancelled i'll let you know to split a room. Are you scheduled for afternoon or morning?

lol i thought the same, no smiles or nothing. crossing fingers still, but everyone that was there that day all said the same thing.
I called and no answer. Sent an email and still waiting for them to reply
Hello. I had an interview there and I was told it was going to be my hardest interview and it was gonna be intimidating and intense, so I already got there super nervous... but let me tell you, I had a great time! Everyone was so nice and I was not intimidated at all, so most importantly just be yourself because this interview is about you, remember they like your application or you wouldn't be there, try to stay calm and you are going to be great! Good luck!
Has UF finished sending out interviews? If not, do they usually send them in waves or is it on an individual basis?
Their last interview is in January. I do not know whether they sent out Jan interview invitations
I think they do but I don't know if it helps much.

Based on some detective work, UF has sent interviews consistently on Nov 14th. I will be crushed if i don't have the opportunity to interview here as it's my utmost top choice 😳
