To everyone that has been accepted to CU, congrats! Also, just want to throw something out there (was going to post in the FB group but it's private):

I live in Denver but will be going elsewhere for dental school. As such, my wife and I will be renting our house, which was just built in Sept. 2017, while we're gone. It's a brand new 3 BR, 2 1/2 bath home with a patio and fenced yard in a new neighborhood just 8 miles from the dental school. We're open to renting to several students or a single family. PM me for details if you're interested!

I got a call from Crystal today asking if I had committed anywhere else and If I was still interested because there are only a limited number of spots and the committee is meeting tomorrow, so hoping thats a good sign that they will be sending out acceptances

I got a call from Crystal today asking the same thing and said the committee is meeting tomorrow. Did you end up getting accepted later that week after the committee met?

When did you interview and did you send an update letter?

I did not, but I also haven’t been rejected. She didn’t tell me when the committee was meeting, so maybe they’ll be meeting about me as well this week 🙂

I interviewed in August and I didn't send an update letter, I sent a letter of intent/interest back in December

I am OOS, and I got a call from Crystal recently, and I did not send a letter of intent. The only follow-up I did was a thank you note the day of my interview in September.

Are you out of state and did you send an update letter/ letter of interest following your interview?
 
Still haven’t heard a thing in regards to an invite or rejection, super weird
 
Just got the acceptance email today!!! So excited!!!!!!!! I am OOS. Congratulations to everyone else and those who havent heard anything yet hang in there!
 
Just wondering if anyone knows that does Colorado Dental allows OOS to change their residency to IS status to get better tuition after 12 months? Thanks in advance for the answer!

Nope, you’ll be paying OOS tuition for all 4 years. But if you do decide to become an instate resident, you may qualify for some grants.
 
To those who got accepted, can someone share a copy of tuition (2019-2020) with me? Thanks in advance!
 
Just curious, Crystal originally said additioal information about summer programs, student portal access, financial aid, etc would be sent out around January 15th. Has anyone received that information yet?

I contacted her and she said they were running behind due to a new software and so portals and such would be sent out in mid February!

There is many of us who haven’t heard back.... I asked crystal how many seats were left and if they were still doing interviews and she dogged my question.
 
For those recently accepted, how long of a time frame do you have to respond to your offer?
 
Did anybody receive their University ID so that they can set up their CU email? It says we should have been emailed one when we applied, but I don't think I ever got one...

Crystal sent an email January 29th which indicated when those would be emailed

yeah i got that email, but it doesn't say anything about the university ID. The link to activate the CU email says that it should have been emailed to prospective students when they applied.

When you sign up for the student portal after they email us the directions, you will be able to get access to the CU Webmail. Can you link me the link you are talking about?

I was only able to get my CU Webmail after signing up for the UCD Portal. It is all connected
 
Emailed Crystal friday morning to ask if they are still accepting students and no reply so far haha Imma take that as a no...
 
What is the likelihood of getting an acceptance here still? I'm OOS but have already sent two letters of interest and interviewed in November.

Same here... interviewed end of october and already sent 3 letters of intent, also OOS
