the University of Pennsylvania VS the University of Minnesota

EDIT- It doesn't really matter now because I am no where near even applying yet but I would appreciate some input anyway

I know that the UMN food animal program is good but I do not know about the University of Pennsylvania

Pros-
Free living expenses at my brothers house
An hour away from my mom
Free child care

Cons-
More than UMN (with residency)

the University of Minnesota
Pros-
I want to live in MN
My aunt with a well established farm lives there
She has many connections
Cheaper (with residency)
Good food animal vet program
I can live for free at a farm

Con-
I have to live there a year before starting
I am away from my immediate family
I would have to pay for child care
