If you haven't noticed, Shorty's entire post was about you. She made one comment on the end of why she is inclined to neutral/village read me. The rest was picking apart your argument. Also, I still want to hear why you think, APART from my involvement, why shorty is sus to you.

CORRECTION: I just reread my previous comments and got a bit muddled in other details. As per my response to Zenge I do think sloth is suspicious especially following Genny's focus on trying to pin Vis. I am not fully convinced so far based on what I've seen to condemn him to death yet. May change strength as the day goes on following more information from others in this chat

Right now Sloth is at the top of my sus list. I didn't really get a satisfactory evidence-based answer yesterday regarding why certain reads changed. A lot of her reads are concerning given the results of the flip.

I'm not sure what to think of Dina. Her vote change last night worries me, but otherwise I usually find myself nodding along to her posts. Hopefully not being pocketed...

Definitely keeping an eye on Lainey for possibly making a last-minute Genny bus.

Alley wasn't worrying me yesterday but I'm keeping an eye on her, especially because I village read her for an entire game the last time she was wolf.

Ace, for now, I think is harmless but I want to see what else he comes up with.

Zenge is giving me pretty clear village vibes. He started the wagon on Genny and rode it all the way to its successful wolf yeet.

Last night there was a “Sloth is sus” sentiment bubbling up.

I asked Genny why she was trying to get the “Vis is Sus” train rolling again as a means of self prez, instead of the more effervescent “Sloth is sus” sentiment that was present at the time, and persistent now, to which she replied:

Given that Genny has now been confirmed wolf, how do you feel about Genny’s decision not to capitalize on the more prevalent Sloth sentiment, and what are your own readings of Sloth?

There have been now two (that ive recorded) statements from genny that seemed to defend another. Defending cray and sloth. Genny said in D1 that they felt cray was "fine" and then they stated they dont find sloth very wolfy. I feel like I will be focusing on cray and sloth for a bit as soon as i catch up.

-Cray in breadsticks said to me in wolf chat to avoid being anywhere close to a tie
-Cray in emoji defended her tie that got 2 villagers yeeted by saying it was an accident and that if she were a wolf she would pay much closer attention to avoiding ties
-Cray yesterday sat on a Visc vote with Genny, and then unyeeted Visc with a few minutes to go and begged someone else to move to April with her to avoid a tie
-I didn't put Sloth into wolfy until after yeet writeup. I was previously neutral on her and thought she could help yeet Genny if we needed. Sloth and Cray were active and on and posting in the minutes leading up to yeet.
-I posted after Genny yeet about Genny saying Cray was okay and Dina was lurking like a wolf and wondering how we should think of those now

Above: This makes me suspicious of sloth. They are thinking genny is village. Is that because they are trying to protect a packmate? They also lean visc as wolfy which is what genny thought too. SO maybe genny and sloth are packmates trying to draw attention elsewhere.

To me Genny is sounding the same as she always does, every game I have played with her she has been village. With the style she’s playing, she currently doesn’t have me raising any eye brows at the moment.
To be fair re-reading my notes Dina could hover weak village as well, to me their vote isn’t very significant at the moment sine MsP hasn’t posted, but they haven’t said anything that has particularly raised any suspicion for me

Sloth has no good reasons why genny would be village other than they've always played w/ them as village but that doesnt seem a good enough reason.

I could see this as a reason to put someone as neutral but not village right away, especially since you don't know what wolf Genny sounds like.

Would genny have tried to last minute vote on April (packmate) to try to keep herself alive? I mean it didn’t work but it’s one thought.

I considered this if they (wolf pack) thought Genny was a more experienced player and better to preserve, but upon looking at everything else (posts and VCA) I don't think that's the case.

Alley's reasoning for voting april and staying on april is that her tone seems different this game, which I thought was strange because she wolfed last game so shouldn't her tone be different this game if she's village?

I currently have Alley as my weakest village read. As far as April/Alley, I think historically, Alley and April have been getting pocketed by each other back and forth across other games. I don't have any reason to sus Alley, she just hasn't been a very strong presence this game. I do find it interesting that you sus her more than anyone else, to the point of voting for her.

Even with all that Ace has said, I'm inclined to think he's just a really nooby villager who isn't paying close attention. I think if he was a wolf the rest of the pack would have told him to shut up and say something more sensical instead. I guess there's the possibility that they've given up on him and will let him be bait, lol, but after losing one of the pack already, I don't think they would take that risk

At first I thought he was just being funny with his GF, but I see more a super noob wolf who did start trying to explain more now but he was already committed to his April tunnel (and or like you said they gave up on him and will let him be bait). My vote isn't there now though because Sloth is more sus for now, and also a greater threat than a brand new noob wolf.

Okay so I just woke up and have half of 1 eye open. I checked my Mod PM (I lived!) then the write up (we lost 2 villagers 🙁 ) then I skimmed the thread. Need to actually read it with a full brain after I get up and to my computer. Initial thoughts to share:

-I am a little surprised that AM was killed by the wolves given some of us were loudly sus of her
-I feel the strongest village feeling towards Zenge

I think that the frustration from lainey towards AM is NAI, and doesn't put her more wolf or village. What does push her a little more wolfy to me was the frustration (and this was just my interpretation) of AM ISO'ing her, when AM was ISO'ing everyone who interacted w genny that she didn't have as clear.

I really wanted to give Lainey some benefit of the doubt because she's so new, but going back through her posts, I have some questions. Many of her posts aren't really wolf hunting as much as they are just agreeing with what other people say. I wanted to chalk that up to being a noob and not being confident in making her own reads, but after a certain point, it just started to feel a little strange to me because she never actually gives reasoning behind it beyond "reasons" or no explanation at all.


Then there's the back and forth with AM. I initially didn't think anything of this and assumed Lainey was carrying over salt from the previous game, where AM killed her early on, so I didn't think there was anything more than that behind this quote:

This is another example of her sort-of bandwagoning onto other's ideas - in this case, the misunderstanding of what AM meant by self-prezzing. Again, by itself, not necessarily something that pings me, but because it's a consistent pattern, I start to wonder a little more.

This was early in things getting a little out of control. Again, I've been reading Lainey as fairly neutral until this morning's revelation, but I'm starting to have second thoughts. I'd like to see more from her today with her own reads and interpretations/explanations (beyond saying really general things like "a few reasons").

this is either some serious bussing (which i don't think is super likely) or v/w. moving shorty back to neutrals for now.

I'm ISOing Ace right now and planning to do April next, but it takes me longer with the search being funky and seems like a bunch of us are online and posting, so might be some radio silence from me for a bit.

have you tried using the ctrl+f function? the on-site search engine thing confuses me so i just use that and i think it goes ok!

Ace doesn't actually have that many posts to go over yet. I think it's kind of odd that he's been pushing April as hard as he has the entire time just based on a gut feeling. Some of what he says is, I think, typical noob - I'll address some of the relevant quotes below - but he's been very stuck on her for the entire game and it's starting to give me kind of a strange feeling.


I thought this was a joke vote initially, much like how Zenge's first post on the board was to say to yeet me, and didn't put much stock behind it.

Strong statements like this without any justification/explanation make me twitch a little.

These next 2 posts are, I think, more like noob not understanding the 36 hour cycle. It doesn't ping me when someone gets a yeet vote early in the cycle and doesn't panic - a lot can change in 36 hours.

I thought this was a little bit of a strange comment to make since all April had said was that I just wanted to live past D1, which was a reference to my D1 misyeet of last game, but again, noob with no context, meh.


Then Ace started pushing this Zenge narrative, which I thought was interesting given how hard Zenge was going after genny yesterday (and now knowing the end result of that). Zenge is one of my stronger village reads at this point based on that performance yesterday, although he was wrong on his AM read that he posted this morning.







At this point, I started feeling like there was a lot of pushing April forward and really not a lot of justification. I think she's been actively wolf hunting throughout the thread, and Ace keeps going after her but with relatively unsubstantiated arguments. I have had a neutral/weak village read on her and that's why I want to ISO her next.

Can you expand on this more? Why specifically does AM's death ping April to you, rather than anyone else in the group?

To go to such lengths seems strange to me. It could be due to this being my first game but I can't help but feel this is a bit more than just defending another villager. Especially when other people also questioned April's motives enough to almost yeet her yesterday.

i might be getting the im new sentiments conflated between noobs, but this makes me feel icky about ace. calling length weird on shorty's one post when he's clearly seen other people (myself included) write mini novels on the thread + the tunneling april with no real substance (in my opinion)

I think if he was a wolf the rest of the pack would have told him to shut up and say something more sensical instead.

Yeah - I like using the on-site search because it allows me to filter by the one person I'm trying to ISO so it just goes a little faster. When I switched it to the threadloom search like Dubz suggested, it started loading all the posts for me. I don't know why the XenForo one isn't working right.

I might switch to sloth, I'm picking alley > sloth because I'm having a hard time believing there was no wolves on april's lynch except genny and I'm thinking alley > ace in that regard.
