For @Truenamer and anyone else confused about Clem:

I get it. Clem can have that effect. For whatever it's worth, his approach to this game has been pretty much standard Clem. This is how he plays the game. I haven't actually seen him in the mafia alignment much (if at all, seriously can't remember a game even if it seems likely there's been one), but I've seen him town often.

The thing that most moved me was the way he responded to nearly being eliminated on Day 1. "Fine, whatever, not a big deal to chop me, my role is bad for town. Just make sure you don't fall for Jay's cute eyes" -- I've seen that before in the very recent past from town Clem, and I tend to doubt he was putting on a show for my sake. I also think he has handled the Nate-related mechanics of today in a way that is prototypical Clem.

I am not super confident, but I feel decent about it by the standards of this game (where I don't feel decent about much else -- if everyone seems town, then by definition everyone also seems mafia. Eek!).

If there's any tendency on this site for people to be informed when they have been tracked or watched, then it provides a clear motivation for Nate to have made his get-out-in-front claim that I didn't know existed before. I have never heard of that being a thing anywhere else, so being informed of that here was kind of like a "well, sheesh, that's extremely important" moment.

Sorry, answered once in a big post, will try and do better here.

I was the first vote on you because when I did a broader analysis of my reads list, the only people at the bottom were new folks. Clem, then Nate, then Empire.

I was never village reading you as much as the general consensus, and there's also been a general feeling today that it's very hard figuring out who fits as a pack. To me, that feels like a wolf is sitting in the consensus town reads. JJJ was vouching for Clem, Empire won me over over the course of the day (enough, at least), and there was already a healthy wagon on Nate. It didn't feel useful to be vote five or six or whatever on him.

So I put the first vote on you to try and generate some more discussion and stir the pot a bit. It was never a lock-on read or anything. And I just haven't found a better person to move to yet.

Okay. I don't like it but I appreciate the response.

Loud actions would have changed my approach to the day entirely is all. And it makes more sense why SDNers would be more dubious about my claim.

Here was my quick summary post for Empire

I didn't like your super hedgy clem push, I don't like that you landed on genny, I think there was a wolf on genny's vote and it wasn't Samac and I'm village reading JJJ and Clem was a self-prez with village feels which leads me to either you or santy and I'm feeling worse vibes about you than santy, I don't have any good village points to give you despite knowing you're a good experienced player, and there were particular posts of yours that would make a lot of sense to fit the strategy of a wolf

But I would need to revisit this depending on my thoughts on Nate which are worsening seeing how he responded to the mechanics discussion a page or two ago. I think I recall Empire voting Nate at some point? I can't keep track of who voted who without a chart tbh

This is my experience as well.

It's usually something really frustrating like "when you wake up in the morning, the condensation on your window is in a strange pattern" and you spend the next 36 hours mad about condensation.

I have 370 posts, some kind of "reputation" or something, and a position of perceived leadership (emphasis on perceived, because I don't really feel like I'm leading much). The longer that state exists, the more people like me look or feel weird. It's a product of the environment.

The banana was my suit.
The fruit I give consist of time related things/ puns ofc. So thats why I thought of a watch that could make the mafia paranoid , but rereading I dont think I would have given just a watch so I think whatev it is that April said makes more sense.
