Have you been keeping in contact with the admissions office? Give them a call and ask about your chances if you havent. They won't tell you how many people there are on the list or where you are ranked but they might hint at what your chances are. It's worth a shot plus you keep your name fresh and that can't hurt.

I woke up to a phone call from the 702 area code and it was Amber on the other line offering me a seat in this year's class! I thought I was dreaming. Its just starting to hit me now..I've spent the whole morning thanking everyone who has helped me get here.

I'm not sure if Touro NV still selects stand-by students(in the case that an accepted student does not show up at orientation), but try asking Oscar or Amber about it. You got to let admissions know how much you want to attend Touro NV this fall! Good luck!

TheTruth12345 hasn't been accepted yet, but we're pulling for him. As far as how many are on the medium wait list, nobody but admissions knows. Wait lists tend to be longer than you'd think, however.

Well, by the time I was done with mcat and aacomas, only Touro was still open for applying.
So I mainly apply only to Touro. So, if i don't get in this cycle, I'll reapply for next cycle and to more schools of course.

Time will tell. If I'm meant to get in this cycle, then I'll go. Otherwise, I hope I get interviews for all the other schools I haven't applied to yet for next cycle.

This was supposed to be my cycle, however I chickened out on my MCAT so I'm planning on taking the new revised MCAT in january and applying next cycle (June 2013). By then I feel I'll be adequately prepared and can maximize my app.

Touro-NV is one of my school choices- esp. wanting to stay on the west coast. I'd love to remain instate here in AZ, but I'm really open for any school and have read great things about Touro-NV!

You should definitely check out the 2012/2013 Underdog Thread. Lots of people have been accepted with lower stats than you...but of course, there's more to the application that just stats.

If someone drops between now and the first 2 weeks, I'm in. If not, then I have a guaranteed seat for next year!

In any case, just wanted to keep errbody in the loop 🙂

But they are only taking 2 people for standby.
And I just left the country yesterday.
If I get a call, I hope they give me the option to deferred til next year. Well I can only get an email now, no phone calls. 2 more days to hear something. But I'll doubt I will hear anything.

Looking towards the next cycle. Life must move on.
