I’m looking for some insight. So…I called the admissions office to see if I could send my fall grades. She said while tufts does not require it they will update gpas. So she advised me if I did well I should send my grades. My VMCAS calculated gpa was a 3.46, my institution counted it as a 3.52 at time of admission. With my straight As this semester, it bumped my gpa up to a 3.58. I felt like it was really important for me to send the grades because my GPA was great freshman year, then dropped my sophomore and junior year. This is due to my previous undergrad institution closing. I literally had professors quit and lab partners quit mid class and this messed up my grades. All this to say I want them to see that now that I’m at a stable institution I have the ability to thrive academically. So last night on the zoom, we were told that they are going down a list of names and giving the applicants thorough reviews. I’m scared that they already passed my name and didn’t see my updated GPA. Do you think they get alerted to someone’s GPA updating? I apologize for the word vomit. I’m down to two schools (Tufts and Auburn) and I’m panicking. TIA
