Sure, what do you want to know? They've started a new curriculum this year, but so far the major hiccups were in the first block, foundations. I think they're gonna handle foundations a little different next year. I've been happy with KU, but then again, its hard to say because its all I've known. I generally don't go to class, but they've made it so that there is only three hours of lecture each day so even those that go to class have plenty of time to study. We have PBLs and histopathology, and some clinical stuff worked in to our afternoons, but there are a lot more afternoons free now than there were in foundations. They really packed the first module full of stuff, it was a bit much. However, they don't do anatomy right away, which I think is a good thing because it allowed us to adjust to med school before getting hit incredibly hard with anatomy. We start anatomy next month, but its split up over the different systems, (meaning next month is cardiovascular/pulmonary system and thats all we focus on till we have our thoracic test/lab practical in January, and then we go on to GI, etc. So we're not forced to memorize as much anatomy at once as those who just have "anatomy" as a course right away in August of M1.
We're currently in inflammation/immunity and I would have to say that I'm concerned for this test.... but we'll see how it works out. I'm not really loving the lecture/notes style of the guy in charge of this module, but maybe the test won't be as bad as I'm thinking. Other than this current module (realize that I'm just in my third, so I don't know how the rest is going to go) I've been very impressed with the instructors. They've been very willing to help us with any questions and just generally seem to want to help us succeed.
