Yeah, it’ll probably be a week or two before its updated since admissions is super busy at the moment. I believe mine took around 2 weeks
Im going on my third week so im hoping that this is the week. Is it true they update Thursdays?

They said interview invites get released Thursday or Friday. My portal updated on a Tuesday when it went to review. So it can be any day, but interviews Thurs/Fri.

Mine just switched from supplemental to this. Pretty sure it just switched this morning🙂
Edit: My Kira invite was 9/13 and I sent it in 9/17

So we can be denied an interview, put on hold/waitlist, or invited for one? Or do we all get put on hold, and they send the invites after they review the applications? Im overthinking at this point 🤣

okay so.
- everyone who submits a KIRA assessment will be placed on a MMI hold
- only 300 people will be lifted off of that hold by the end of november for an actual interview
- last year if you were still on hold by the time interviews were concluded, you received a rejection with the first batch of rejections in january. so you had to wait until the interview cycle was over to receive your rejection
- i am unsure if they will send rejections earlier if you did not get selected for an interview, or if they will send a rejection to everyone on february 19th.

Ohhh okay okay this makes sense thank you!!!

Is it weird that mine has said that it’s under MMI review since 10/1? I see other people getting put on MMI hold

its not! some people waited weeks to get on hold and then immediately got invites, or never ever were put on hold and got invites

i'm so sick to my stomach 😭 does that mean they're not gonna send invites tomorrow? im so confused!

Wait so since I’m not technically on MMI hold yet I can’t get an invite right?

Not necessarily, some people were never put on hold or were put on hold and invited the same day.

Now I’m scared cause I sent my Kira assessment in the 8th and haven’t heard back yet. Am I cooked guys or what 😭?

if i may offer some hope, some people were on the waitlist for 3weeks to over a month and then received an interview invite. it's not over until its over. just because the app was reviewed and on hold in sept, doesn't take you out of the running in october or november. according to last year's forum, they look for something specific each meeting (IS, OOS, Trad vs Non-trad, GPA, etc) so you might be selected at a specific meeting? i'm gonna hold out hope until november 30th, if nothing at that point, then i know my answer (which sucks but cest la vie).

For those that received a MMI invite today, did you receive it at the same time or different times? The last 2-3 weeks people received them at 5:02pm PST/8:02pm EST so after business hours, I'm wondering if they send them throughout the day or once all at once.

I'm also wondering-- if the KIRA is scored by the admissions committee or by KIRA themselves or by AI??

Hey All! Just wanted to let you know that you are still in the pool of candidates until you get a rejection. They go through and look at every single person at LEAST once. So until otherwise stated, you have a chance. Last year I was waiting for my supplemental application to be reviewed for like a month and a half. And then I got an MMI invite the same day they reviewed it. So don't worry if it takes time. A lot of people work to get through your apps, so have some patience and know you will get an answer! I totally understand how hard it is to wait and if you have any specific questions I really encourage you reach out to the admissions team.

Thank you so much this made me feel so much better

Hi all, if I could help. I’m OOS got MMI invitation on 9/26 with no hold, but I didn’t received any emails notification, luckily I checked my portal at that day. I scheduled my MMI on 10/4 it seems that there was one more interview group 9/27 before me. On 10/3 there were a pre interview session which you can ask questions. The admin told us( about 15ppl) this year 2700 applied, 600 ppl Kira and 300 will be interviewed.

Hold on … only 600 people got Kira? So if we got Kira we already have 50% chance of being interviewed if they will see 300?

Only 600 people received the Kira? I thought most applicants receive it (based on GPA?)

This is what I heard from the admin.

Do we know roughly how many OOS applicants are invited to interview vs IS applicants out of the 300 people who interview? I know there are only 45 OOS seats so it makes me nervous as a non-resident applicant.

Wow! Only 600? How strange. On the website it says everyone that meets the minimum requirements will receive a KIRA. Is it only 600 so far because they haven’t gotten to everyone or are the 2100 people not getting a KIRA at all?

they got 2700 applicants this year? That is VERY high.. last year many schools were seeing “record numbers” at 1500.

WELCOME BACK TO THURSDAY !!! 🎉🎉 I HAVE NO IDEA IF ALL INTERVIEW INVITES WERE SENT YESTERDAY, BUT WE WILL REMAIN HOPEFUL THAT SOME PEOPLE WILL RECEIVE ONE TODAY !!!! AND EVEN IF ITS NOT TODAY-- WE HAVE 7 MORE TRIES !!

WOOOOO MANIFEST BABY! WE GOT THIS!
