Mine did around 4:30 today. Sadly, it was a denial.
But, I did get accepted into another program that’s closer to home and Disneyland (priorities in check).
However, I wish you all luck in your future endeavors! We’ll be colleagues in 4 short years!
Congratulations on getting accepted into another program!! I have yet to hear back at all from Davis. I wonder if the announcements will continue into next week then!
congrats on getting into western!! i got waitlisted there but hopefully the waitlist moves for me to enter lolMine did around 4:30 today. Sadly, it was a denial.

Highly variable for the year, my year had at least 33 off the wait list but it's basically unpredictable.Waitlisted!!Not an acceptance but I was freaking out about a rejection!! 😱
I know in the past they've accepted up to 34, but do we know other years/the average? 🙄
Just received a message saying that even though I did not get an interview, I at least made it within the holistic review ranking. If I don't receive an acceptance this year from the other schools I am still in the running at, I am hopeful enough to reapply to Davis next year (with my experiences and grades from this year to add to my app)!
Also, huge congrats to everyone that has received acceptances!!
You give me hope! I’m #22. I know that each year differs, and I’m concerned what the effects of increased applicants to schools will cause in terms of others getting into their top choice. I also figured it won’t be until closer to the April 15th date before I know. I’m hoping all the waiting will pay off! I’m grateful my interview didn’t cause a complete rejection. For those on the waitlist, Hope is not completely lost! I was waitlisted at 23 I think last year and while it was agony waiting, It happened! And there were still a few more spots when I was offered. What I realized is that people hold on to their offer until they are absolutely sure they’re gonna go somewhere else, so you won’t see too much movement until it gets closer to the acceptance deadline. I didn’t get notified until just a few days before the April deadline and I had just accepted at another school. Thankfully I was able to cancel the check I sent congrats to those who were accepted!
I can't speak for the school but you're probably ok. Send them now and everything will more than likely work out just fineHi all! I'm an OOS accepted student, hopefully going to Davis! I am wondering if anyone else missed the deadline to send transcripts - I was very wrapped up in deciding and juggling interviews and crunching numbers, and I did not realize that there was a requirement for accepted students to send transcripts directly to Davis by February 15, until today when I went on my portal with the intention of accepting my offer, of course. Now I am obviously freakin' out! I already emailed them to ask, but I got an "out of office until March 11" reply and was just wondering if anyone wants to put my mind at ease that my offer isn't going to be rescinded now that I've finally made up my mind that I'd like to go there!
Yup! It very much depends on if you're bringing a bunch of stuff or not. I brought most of my furniture because I couldn't let go of it and I was semi furnishing house I was going to be living in. Honestly you can usually pick up a bed once you get here. I used to shipping company called ABF and shipped all the furniture and other important things I was bringing with me. I wouldn't recommend bringing so much if you don't have to that cost a pretty penny. The rest I packed in my car and drove cross country. I made a little trip out of it so I can have some fun before vet school. I also gave myself some time to settle in before school started so there wasn't the stress of trying to unpack and start school the same time. The move that is going to be expensive no matter what you do good luck!Could anyone who moved to Davis from farther east talk about logistics/cost of moving all your stuff to California? I would be coming from Pennsylvania and have no idea how to approach moving across the country
There is a private group that people offered admission are allowed access to. The administration runs it. If offered admission there will be a link included with the offer letter. Hope this helps!Does anyone know about a Facebook group for class of 2023?
It does, except I didn’t read anything about a group in my offer letter. Do you know if I’ll receive a confirmation with the link? I accepted this morning, so I don’t know how quickly they process ‘things’, for lack of a better word. There is a private group that people offered admission are allowed access to. I’ve posted on the facebook page, but is there anyone here, who is incoming or currently attending, looking for a roommate?
