Honestly based on the last email I think the portal is up to date which sucks sooo much. It sounds like this was just a really weird year. BUT hopefully we both get in and can be classmates! Based on their initial email (I think it was an email at least) I’m trying not to lose hope til the 20th because that’s when they said they expect to have their class determined.

Just to see if anyone may be interested, my husband and I will likely be moving some time in July since he accepted a seat OOS. We currently live in a 1x1 apartment in Davis. Looks like the white coat ceremony has been officially cancelled pending a modified version per the website. 🙁 ... Im assuming online classes are sure to follow for at least the start. It's going to be sad not getting to meet everyone before the madness ensues 🙁

In all honesty if there was a perfect time for online classes, it would be fall semester first year. Sorry about the white coat.

In the state of the school presentation given today, they revealed the statistics for the incoming class of 2024! I don’t know about you guys, but I used to stare at application statistics posted on the UC Davis website constantly. Every change of gpa I had, every GRE test I took, etc etc... I’d go stare at that page and wonder if it was enough.

So proud for everyone who made it this year, these stats are so impressive!!

And to those who are staring at these numbers and feeling dismayed, I was accepted (in-state) and was definitely below those in-state average GPAs!!! (It might have been a fluke, but hey, here I am!) The rest of your application definitely matters! You can do this!!
