Some people in our class said they never got a call with their acceptance, which I think could be due to their phone auto blocking unknown numbers. So that could be the case for some of y’all! Your portal will update regardless (in a few days most likely)!
 
well I think I've given up hope for getting a call tonight. congratulations to all who were accepted!!
 
I believe they are done calling for the day :/ They usually will try everyone on the list twice, but if you missed the calls you will still get an updated portal this weekend with the official offer of acceptance! There will be a link to the FB page along with other information and a welcome checklist of things for you to do on the portal. They will also update portals for those who were not offered admission and those who are waitlisted (it varies year to year but there is usually decent movement on the waitlist, so don't give up hope!).

But congratulations to everyone that was accepted!!! And for those that were not, I know it sucks but it is NOT the end of the road for you. There are always other schools as well as other cycles, and its just a matter of continuing to try. I didn't get in my first cycle, and while that was really hard it also made the acceptance call (when I finally got it) that much sweeter <3
 
Congrats to everyone who was accepted! Remember this feeling, it's a great one! To any who did not receive a call all hope is not lost! There's a possibility your phone blocked the number or even that you are on the waitlist. Even if you did not get in to Davis this is not the end of the line. You will all be amazing wherever you end up! Good luck to the future Class of 2026!

To everyone else: if you were placed on the waitlist, or not accepted this cycle, you might be plucked from the waitlist in the coming days, or you may be accepted to a great vet med school elsewhere. Please do not get discouraged - you've come this far, and many others do NOT even get this far in their own lives. You can do this!
 
IS Accepted! Got the call at around 4:45pm yesterday! For all those people that interviewed and were not called yesterday, I was in your position last year and I know how crushing it feels, but please don't give up hope! You may have other schools to hear from, and if not just know that an extra year can be absolute blessing to learn more about yourself and learn more in the vet field. It also makes getting an acceptance so much sweeter!
 
Has the portal updated for anyone yet? I know they said it should be updated by Tues., but I don’t see any changes yet.
 
Does anyone know the waitlist stats for the previous years? aka how many people got in off the waitlist. I'm looking for some insight as to what my number on the waitlist means. Thanks!

20-30 ppl usually get off!

Current first year, working 10h ICU at VMTH every Saturday, working in a research project in a lab, picking up occasional shifts at another ER in Sac/participating occasionally in outreach clinics, and still have energy for a few club activities. Very flexible schedule if you're not super into the grades, I skip lectures all the time, all lectures are recorded if you prefer to study later. Absolutely loving the autonomy.
