My rent is around that now but looking around its gone up for new rent ( what was 600-700 last aug is now 870-900).

My vet school buddy lives in palms of archer and its pretty good.
 
To add to housing: a very popular place for vet students is Treehouse Village. It's super pet and vet student friendly (they waive all pet fees and rent deposits for vet students), and the landlord is amazing. It's only a 5 minute drive from the vet school and it's mostly graduates and young professionals so the community is pretty quiet. I've lived in Treehouse for all of vet school and I love it here. I currently pay $709 a month for my 2/2 and I live alone, however I believe the rate is currently at $800 for new residents has they upgraded most of the units while I've lived here. Last year they filled up very fast but a quarter of my class lives here and we will all be leaving after graduation in May so hopefully those that are interested will have an easier time getting a unit.

Hey everyone! First time posting but I got an IS interview invite today as well!!! Out of curiosity, does anyone know the portion of students offered and interview compared to those actually offered a seat?

Hi, yes if you just google "UF DVM Class admission stats" there should be a spread sheet of previous statistics

In their update email, they did say that everyone would get an email, no matter what the decision was so I'd keep waiting. You're definitely not the only one that hasn't gotten something (I haven't) and I'm definitely in the same mindset.

This was directly copied from their email which makes me believe that there will be more interview invites sent out.
We have allocated resources for interviews and respectfully ask that you let us know if you are declining this offer as other qualified candidates are interested in securing an interview time. Please use the email provided below if you are declining this offer."
 
Why couldn’t UF be like MSU and send updates to those who didn’t receive interview invites yet like “hey, we sent some out but if you didn’t get one, assume you’re still in review” to at least calm our nerves!!

So is it almost like a waitlist?
 
I actually saw the forum first and thought I didn't get an invite and flipped but I actually did! IS last initial B. I'm rooting for everyone who hasn't heard back yet because my sorority sister is waiting as well. Just hold on guys!

They expect everyone who received an invite to respond by the 14th with their dates/if they plan to interview so they may just be waiting to see how many more interview spots they have before they say anything

I'm a GA resident and UGA grad. My cum GPA and science GPA are around 3.71. IDK my last 45. I have about 1,500 hours in three different small animal clinics plus about 70 large animal and 40 wildlife hours both at the UGA teaching hospital. My GRE scores were 161/154/4.0 for V/Q/W. This is my second time applying and my first time applying to UF.
 
For those of us that haven't heard from UFCVM, I called today and asked if they send out interview invites in waves. He told me that they are still finalizing decisions and will be sending out all decisions between today and tomorrow.

Im still holding onto some hope here!

I just hope when he said that they're still finalizing decisions, it includes interview invites. Not sure if that will only include for waitlist and declines. But lets keep hoping!
