University of Minnesota C/O 2022 Applicants

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Do you know if everyone hears about it at the same time or not? I just haven't heard anything yet.
It’s probably going to take a minute since you were just accepted. They may not even be through all the packages for the initial acceptances. My school certainly isn’t.

So excited to get started!!
So where can I park my car while we are gone away at camp? I'd rather not get towed!

Since the State Fair is going on and parking is a madhouse in general, it's probably best if you can get dropped off and leave your car parked wherever you're living. We have an abundance of public transport, along with Uber and Lyft, so it's really easy to get to the U without having to worry about your car.

Totally jumping the gun here, but does MN have rules about how far away you're allowed to live once fourth year rolls around? I saw somewhere that some schools require you to be a certain distance away once you're on call. The house I'll be living in at that point (assuming I get in at some point lol) is in Saint Louis Park which isn't the closest but it's also not super far away. Just wondering!

You'll be fine, I lived in New Hope during 4th year. Usually when you get called they ask when you can be in and you just tell them.
