is it email or snail mail, i've been standing next to me mail box all morning like an idiot waiting, and checking my mail on the phone simultaneously lol.

Did you receive a second notification for financial aid today?
 
I didn't get a notification for financial aid at all (not first or second).
 
Hopefully you guys hear something by this week. I wonder why it's taking longer than usual. Maybe they are doing acceptances by snail mail like before?

I hope so too!!! I forgot about it until they sent me that fin aid email 😳
 
I think you may be getting FA emails from them because you submitted your FAFSA like desler said and you probably have some other documents they want you to submit.

i have my interview this saturday and i just wanted to clarify some things about the interview...

is the interview open or closed file?

and is the interview with the professor and student at the same time or separate?

For me it was open file. my interviewer asked me very specific questions from my secondary application essay.

And, it is both the professor and the student together, each take turns asking questions.

I think it's open file to a certain extent. I know the professor mentioned that they read my secondary essays but it seemed like that's all they had. They didn't know about my EC activities and stuff like that (unless you mentioned it in your essays).
 
Received an email from Xin Gong approx 20 minutes ago. I am on the AC list 🙁. However, I'm happy to be accepted at my top-choice school so I will be removing myself from the AC list. Good luck, everyone! 😀
 
Got my second hold letter just now 🙁 so everyone should receive some sort of notification soon. Good luck!
 
I got AC at USC as well. 🙁
UOP is probably where I will end up unless they remove me from the AC list. and I'm happy with it but I'd be happier with USC since its close to home. But hey, you can't have everything! Gotta give up something to gain something. 🙂

I haven't received an AC email yet and I interviewed on 2/26 but I received a third financial aid email today. Yesterday they sent me a second notification requesting for additional financial aid information with an attachment titled "new admit stdt-email" and today they sent me another generic financial aid email. The wait is killing me 🙁

Thank you I need all the luck I can get! I'm thinking maybe they sent me another financial aid email by accident instead of the AC email 🙄
 
Just received my AC e-mail as well. This limbo land kinda sucks.
 
my friend got her acceptance email not too long ago from Xin. I don't think she'll be attending though so she'll be giving up her seat. Hope this helps out the AC list. Hang in there guys!!! :luck::xf::luck::xf::luck:
 
My mom called me and told me there's a big yellow packet waiting for me at home 🙂 🙂 🙂!!!!
 
i haven't heard anything yet, guess i'm still on AC (I had the Jan interview).

i know how you feel! everyone i know got accepted to sc. i am happy for them...but feeling so left out! =(

I got my acceptance letter today!! 🙂 I was somehow pulled off the AC list.
 
FYI-I was finally accepted off of the waitlist from USC in May last year :/ Hard decision, but I went to UCSF instead. There is still hope! GL guys 🙂

I was on AC since Nov and I was finally admitted this time around. 🙂

You probably interviewed in February, correct?

First hold just refers to it being a first hold letter based on your interviewing date (e.g. January interviewers would be 2nd hold letter, and etc).

interviewing this saturday too! very excited 😀 and nervous :scared: at the same time!!
