I got an email from Cali on Tuesday the 2nd. They basically just said they're still making decisions and they will let us know when they finish deciding.

Austin had 55 applicants. Fl had about 120 - 130. I think i gave up on waiting game, i just don't think abt this anymore and also started working on applications for other schools too. Lets hope for the best!!

is that total applicants for PT only or both pt and ot? for cali i think there were about 120 total.
 
Okay, I think people are meaning there were 55 people there or 120 people there to interview. Not total number of applicants to the university. Just to clarify

I am talking about number of people who interviewed .
 
I agree. I think too there were about 120 who interviewed at Cali. I tried counting the rows and there were more than 100 seated.
 
I wonder if the Flex applicants will have to wait this long? +pissed+

I think there are not many people who apply for FLEX program, so you guys will hear soon too. How many flex applicants interviewed?

There were 17 I think in total. There was supposed to be 18 but there was one no show.

I would assume they would either wait slightly longer or send an email in regards to a waitlist. Just incase a number of accepted applicants decide to attend other programs USA would have open seats that they would surely want to fill.

In theory, yes. I think that's what they told us at the interview. But they also said accepted candidates would get phone calls which isn't what happened for Austin so I'm not sure what to expect. At this point my heart starts racing even when I check my actual mailbox haha
 
Yes, Cali applicants were told too about receiving a call. I can't keep my eyes off of my phone. How pathetic LOL!

I didn't recall them mentioning they would call us for a decision for the Austin interviewees. They did address the possibility that although their response is typically 3 weeks after the interview date, there may be a delay.

Didn't realize you guys had so many interviewees during interview day. I had a count of around 53 for Austin and it was just for the entry level dpt that we're being interviewed.

Those still waiting keep being patient I'm sure you'll hear back very soon. I wasn't completely sure the acceptance letter was for real over the weekend until I saw on Monday they changed the status on the portal to accepted.

No I didn't, I feel like many people must be leaving voicemails. Unless I reach an actual person, I wouldn't want to leave a message lol
 
alright so my prediction was wrong haha 🙁 GOING WITH THE SURE THING OF THIS FRIDAY 2pm EST.
 
I applied to other programs earlier this year and received acceptances a week after interview on both occasions. Not sure why st aug is taking so long :/
 
Just called again, now they're saying it could be this week or next week..."taking it day by day." Don't think I can wait another full week.

Is that from Florida? Did they say what was taking so long?
 
I asked specifically about Florida, yes. But it seems both Cali and Fl are facing the same issues with the program directors. Has anyone else called/e-mailed about it? I saw someone mention something about Erika's direct line..
