does anyone know how many applicants the ad com got through yesterday? will everyone know if they got in or not by tomorrow??
 
A couple questions: Does anybody know if the AdCom is also meeting today?? Dr. Wilcox told me they'd be reviewing my application on the 24th...

I also want to know because I want to send Dr. Wilcox an email, but I don't want him to be busy and in a sour mood.

Does anybody know when they will be sending out offers?? I really hope its tomorrow...

I don't believe they are meeting today. But if they are, it's not in the same room they had it yesterday...

If you had to estimate the number of people in the adcom meeting, approximately how many would you say were in there?
 
Okay I got an email from Dr. Wilcox today. He said the CoP will be sending offers in a couple of days which probably means Monday. (He said a couple, the probably means Monday part is my opinion)

thats good to hear. for any longhorn P1-P4s here do they send waitlist notifications through email as well?
 
by my estimate, theyve accepted about 60 so far. With 125 spots, and about 25 waitlist movement (what ive gathered there was last year) that leaves about 90 or so more. I'd expect another 60 or so in this next wave. surfs up.
 
also, remember UT accepts about 60% of those who interviewed, so be optimistic.
 
I haven't got an email yet but I just checked the status page for the first time in 2 days and it says I'm accepted! OMGGGGGG
 
mine still says: We've received all the items that are required to review and process your application. The Admissions Committee is currently reviewing your application for admission. Once the Committee reaches a decision, you'll be notified by mail and your decision will be posted on this page.

What about anyone else??? I'm scared.

congrats! mine hasn't changed....probably bad news for me
 
Mine hasn't changed either. I don't think it really means anything if it hasn't changed yet so don't worry!
 
keep in mind they have to send admission letters to 60-90 ppl. so maybe they havent reached or updated everybodys status yet. with that said hoping for the best:xf:

I can vouch for this as my status page says the same thing:

"Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to the College Of Pharmacy ( Pharmacy, Professional, Pharm. D. ) at The University of Texas at Austin."

Check your online status page!

Mine hasnt changed either 🙁 Maybe it is a bad news 🙁

Right back at you. As for the rest, certainly don't be discouraged just yet. There is no way to tell what this means without a definitive letter or email being sent to you. Maybe someone here can call or email Dr. Wilcox to figure out what this means?

I am tempted to, but I dont want to piss him off lol....I guess just wait for the email...Around maybe 5?

Does anyone know if they email rejections or do those ppl just don't get an email and just wait?

based on last years thread, i heard rejection letters are in snail mail. dont know about the waitlist notification if those are snail mail or email either.

A friend of mine will call/email around 4:30 so I'll post what he finds out around then.
 
My status still says congrats for Natural Sciences.

If I remember correctly, I think last round some people got an email before their online status changed, so let's not get discouraged yet! :xf:

So neither currently reviewing nor accepted :[ Are you guys transfer students or already UT students applying to the program?

That's weird. You should call them for that one. I'm a transfer student.

Laura, I appreciate it. I really liked what I saw at OU, but the cost is prohibitive for me so the decision comes down to UT and A&M. I'll end up choosing UT so for anyone on the board who has applied to A&M, there will be a seat available.

Regardless, let's see what Dr. Wilcox says about the rest of the applicants. I'm certainly hopeful for everyone here.

maybe its an error on your server/application. if you got interviewed they had to review your stats and the stuff you had.

another part of my application status says this:

Your application for PHARM.D. APPLICATION is complete. This does not necessarily mean your application for admission to UT Austin is complete. Check the list of required admissions documents on this page to learn the status of your application for admission.

Mine still says this and I was accepted last monday. I wouldn't worry about it. Its not over yet. Stay positive 🙂
 
I just received an email from Ann Spencer with the acceptance offer. Keep checking your mailboxes, just in case.
 
Nothing for me yet so I guess other school here I come. Congratulations everyone who got in I'm sure you all deserve it. It was fun people I'm off to find me another hobby that doesn't involve this forum

I can't see that - the people on this forum are so much better prepared for the interview. There's got to be more to this.

Yeah, I hope so. Since so many from here got accepted last round it does seem a little odd.

Can Texas Southern University push a PharmD applicant to go a an undergraduate BS in biomedical Scince to finish Pharm in 6 years instead of 4 years?
