Hey, I got harassed by Russian hobos, routinely shoved around on the metro, and yelled at by an old Chinese woman in D.C., and it's till my favorite city so far, hehe

Memphis is great. I just lived with the knowledge that my car was going to get broken into and tried not to leave anything valuable in it.

And W. W. Herenton is still the mayor, last time I checked. He said he was stepping down, but I think he was just posturing to try to get the school superintendent job. Herenton will remain the mayor of Memphis until he is actually convicted of a felony, or until someone like Harold Ford Jr. runs against him (which is not going to happen).

So, from what I've gathered, I'm about 99% sure I'm the absolute last person that is still considered "within the average number of people taken off of the waitlist", which means I'm not going to get in, most likely. Good luck to those ahead of me on the list, and I'll try to remember to start a thread like this for next years class. Third time's the charm, I suppose 🙄

Hey guys! Congrats on getting into UT!

I am an M4 living in a gorgeous midtown neighborhood (Evergreen Historic District) and my roommate graduated....looking for a female roommate. The house is a duplex and I share the other side with an M2 and incoming M1. The house has two bedrooms, 1.5 bath, washer/dryer, central heat and air, hardwood floors throughout, ceiling fans, fenced in backyard, and is two blocks from Overton park in an amazing neighborhood. The nieghborhood is very safe and we have off-street covered parking with well motion detector lighting. House is almost completely furnished but there is room for living room furniture and whatever you want to put in your bedroom. Rent is $450 NOT including utilities and cable/internet.

About me: I am an M4, like to go out, have fun. I enjoy mentoring and giving advice to underclassmen. I am somewhat clean but not a neatfreak. I will be gone most of the fall on away rotations.
