Non-traditional? Yes, attended college from 2013-2019. I have been working in healthcare since 2014 (medical facilities/hospitals) and in Dentistry as a Dental Hygienist since 2019. I am a single mother and I work full time at the moment... probably why my DAT scores were not great. I am considering retaking for 2025 dental school application but if my scores are good enough for this round I won't...

Volunteering Experience: 100 international service learning abroad done in Mexico. 100+ volunteering at homeless shelter as a Dental Assistant/Dental Hygienist.
Employment: 1000+ hours including work done abroad for military populations.
Other Extracurriculars: ADHA, professional medical scribe, American Cancer Society fundraising, Environmental projects,
Have you volunteered/shadowed/attended events at any dental schools? no
Relevant Honors or Awards: Deans list throughout college. Bright futures scholar.
LOR type and strength: 3 letters, 2 from a Dentist (1 of 2 Dentists was my Dental Hygiene school professor that hired me as an employee post grad. 2/2 Dentist I am currently employed with), 1 from Dental Hygiene professor, 1 from former employee for medical work.
Misc Info/Things not stated elsewhere/Red Flags: I am aware that chemistry is my red flag subject. I am hiring a tutor to help me improve my comprehension in case of a retake.
