I have one semester left of my undergrad. Should I do a SMP or take my chances and apply broadly to DO schools. Would I even have a shot at MD? If I do apply, it will be for the 2019 cycle.

Major: Biology with chem minor
cGPA: 3.3
sGPA: 2.98 (hoping to get it up to 3.0 in my last semester) - I had to retake both semesters of Organic
MCAT: 515
State of Residence: Missouri

EC's
4000+ hours of direct patient contact. - 2+ years in a leadership position
Approx. 300 hours of non medical volunteering and 200 of medical volunteering.
100 hours clinical research.
200 hours shadowing in various fields.

Any advice on how to improve my app (other than GPA) and any school lists would be helpful!

You are fine for the majority of DO schools as long as you increase your sGPA to 3.0 by the time you graduate. Apply broadly to at least 12 DO schools. You could also receive interviews at some MD schools with your MCAT of 515 and I suggest these:
Your Missouri state public schools
Creighton
Quinnipiac
Seton Hall
NOVA MD
New York Medical College
Penn State
Drexel
Temple
Oakland Beaumont
Rosalind Franklin
Loyola
George Washington
