You mean, I'm not alone in this?! I used to go out and drink 3+ times a week a few years back, but I have zero interest in it now. Especially, now that I am living back in my home town. Oh, the drama! Most of my friends are booze hounds and I work so early in the mornings now, that I can't stay out past 9pm drinking(they usually haven't even started by then). I feel like I am alienating them and when I do get the chance to go out it just feels awkward. (They never want to do anything else. I would love to go bowling, or lunch/dinner, or a movie, etc, but they are either working, watching the kids or just don't want to.)
I end up staying at home, alone, watching Netflix before bed.
I think I need to find new friends that don't drink much, but also don't have children. Which is hard enough, but my town is only 5,000 people.
I have spent the last three hours baking for a potluck/cookie swap. The finished products contain

I never expected myself to join an internet forum, let alone post a bunch in one. I tend to be shy and quiet and keep my opinions to myself.. so I am amazed at how many posts I have.
